I specialize in the teaching of the modern (silver) flute and the baroque one-keyed flute as well as Renaissance flute and multi-keyed classic flutes, having studied both to a very high level in Australians the Netherlands. I have taught both privately and in music schools and in 3rd level Music institutions for 35 years. I also have a lot of performing experience and I perform regularly and record on both instruments in various ensembles in Ireland and in Europe and Australia.

I teach modern flute to children starting from 6 years, using the Colourkeys Method, and I enjoy teaching people of all ages and standards in modern and baroque, renaissance and classical flutes! I can also give advice about purchasing instruments.

I have experience teaching children with additional needs.

Extra information

You need to have your own instrumentin good working order, a music stand to practise with at home, and various music books as requested by myself.
