My name is Matleena and I’m a classical pianist from Finland, living in Tallinn. I have a Master’s degree from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and I have been teaching piano since 2012. I love teaching, meeting new people and sharing music with the world. I teach students of all ages and I’m always looking for creative ways to make the learning experience interesting. Learning piano can add so much value to one’s life and it’s never too late to start. I will adjust the lessons to every student’s needs and wishes. I studied English and Swedish at the Faculty of Foreign Languages for 3 years. During my 2nd year, I received a scholarship to study in Sweden from the Swedish Embassy. Afterwards, I continued my education in Master's Programme of Linguistics, centred around translations and grammar. Since then, I have been working with both languages in different specialties.

I have 15 years of experience teaching piano to students of various ages and skill levels. During this time, I have developed effective teaching techniques that help students build strong technical foundations while nurturing their musicality.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have a lots of diploma in piano performance" or "organized student recitals"]. My goal is to inspire a love for music and foster confidence in my students as they progress.
