Experience / Qualifications
I have several years of hands-on teaching and tutoring experience, working with students from a variety of backgrounds and age groups. In 2018–2019, I volunteered at Hope After School Program, where I tutored children in English and math, supported homework completion, ran educational activities, and built strong mentorship relationships with the students.
That same year, I also volunteered with New York Cares as an English teacher for immigrants. I taught students at different proficiency levels, using real-life conversation, listening, reading, and writing exercises to help them grow in fluency and confidence.
More recently, I founded and led a debate and communication program for students, where I designed and taught lessons on public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentation. This experience strengthened my ability to teach language through engaging, interactive methods that promote both skill and confidence.
I bring patience, energy, and adaptability to every lesson—and I always tailor my teaching to each student’s unique needs and goals.
