About Me

I have taught in primary and secondary education facilities since 2017 and it has been the job I have enjoyed the most. Even before leaving school I was often asked to help younger students and give support sessions to those who were struggling as I was seen to be patient and work well with those who needed support. I find teaching extremely rewarding and my proudest professional moments have been when students achieve something they thought impossible at the start of my time with them. I believe the student should be at the centre of learning, I often adapt my approach if I believe a student is struggling and ensure the student feels they are taking ownership of their learning rather than having a purely dictatorial learning experience. I am happiest when I am busy and I know I’m making a difference. I have experience and training in SEN and SEMH.
