Hello everyone, I have been a teacher since 2014. The Tunisian dialect is my mother tongue. I am here to help those who like to learn Tunisian: vocabulary, pronunciation, listening-comprehension, conversation, reading,... The courses are well prepared and focus on different themes. Learning tools are available to facilitate understanding. I don't neglect my students' mistakes so that they can improve. At the end of each session, detailed feedback will be provided. I have over 12 years of experience teaching online Italian classes, adapting to the most diverse goals and profiles. I have supported university students preparing to study abroad, professionals working with Italian companies, and individuals who need to certify their Italian level with official exams such as CILS or PLIDA, with excellent results. I have also worked with children of all ages and with parents married to Italians, helping them integrate linguistically and culturally into the lives of their partners and children. I design each course with the student, adapting the content to their interests, pace, and learning style. I don't work with generic programs: I believe in a flexible, humane, and deeply individualized approach. Everything is available online so learning can continue outside of class. My method is based on the theory of Personalized Education developed by Víctor García Hoz, which recognizes that each student is unique and learns differently. Therefore, each class is different.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

The Tunisian dialect is a living and rich language, different from classical Arabic. It incorporates influences from Berber, French, Italian, and Maltese. 👩‍🏫 I am Tunisian, I live in Tunisia, and I am fluent in French as well as other foreign languages, which allows me to guide you effectively, even if you don't speak Arabic at all. In this course, you will learn a range of linguistic methods and learn the terms used for describing a specific aspect of language or phenomenon (lexis, morphemes, and 'telegraphic stage' to give a few examples). The course requires you to explore your own data using quantitative and qualitative analysis (eg: how frequently are slang phrases used? Are there new auxiliaries being created?). No historical linguistics or literature is involved, but language change or specific traits will be sampled via your own data collection (if this is what is demanded in your course). As many students need to present a "year abroad" dissertation at University level (3rd year in the UK of a Modern Languages or Linguistics Undergraduate course) I can help you to research and structure your year abroad work, both in English (Linguistics) and Romance languages (French, Italian, Spanish).
