Spanish is my official native language but I went to an American school during my entire education which means I speak both fluently. My goal is to keep students motivated while learning or improving their use of a new language.

You can learn the basics of Spanish and English. The class can also be focused on specific subjects depending on the students level: whether they need more practice in speech or grammar; or their desire to learn something specific. I can help with everything from the alphabet to being able to write an essay or taking an exam.

About Me

I am Morgan. I come from the Dominican Republic but I am also half French. I am currently doing a Master's degree at the HKU in Utrecht.

I did all of my school years in an American school which makes me fluently trilingual (Spanish, French, English). I can teach Spanish and English at any level in any of these languages.

My name is Dani and I am Mexican. I always ask my students about their specific goals and their preferred way of learning a language. In my classes I like to take a conversational approach, but this depends entirely on the needs of my students. I use different books with different didactic material, mostly Aula Plus and Bitacora. I also try to practice all skills: talking, writing and listening. If the student wants it, I leave homework, which I correct during the week before the next lesson, so that we can make the most of the lesson time. I share a word or phrase of the week with my students to build a useful vocabulary. Teaching is my passion. I feel motivated by the progress of my students, which I believe also keeps them motivated. German and Spanish are my native languages and I speak fluent English, I also speak fluent Dutch (with a little accent). Therefore, I can explain concepts in all these languages. However, I prefer to speak Spanish as much as possible, also for the beginners lessons, because I believe that people learn the language better that way.

I have a FPELE certificate: Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training. And I have taught A1 to B2 level at a language institute in Spain.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a Bachelor’s in Classical Singing from Greece. I like using the CLT methond during my lessons. I have been teaching in a Gymnasium as an intern for the past 3 years and this method is the one that works best. I really like practicing the language in useful ways that the students can later on use in their daily lives.
I would provide the material for the lessons (no need for a book). I would create or print material when needed. I would also bring my laptop if something needs to be shown. It is handy for the student to have a notebook to keep track of all the work during the lessons.
