My name is Andrea and I offer piano lessons in Valencia. Lessons can be in Spanish, Valencian, and English! I teach in English too!

Graduate in Art History and professional piano degree completed at a conservatory. Master's degree in secondary education teaching specializing in music.

My classes are designed for different profiles, as I have more than 10 years of experience with diverse students: children from 5 years old, adults at beginner and intermediate-advanced levels, conservatory reinforcement, entrance exams, ABRSM system, Suzuki method knowledge...

My experience includes both private lessons and instruction in music schools and institutes, in Valencia and the UK. Regarding methodology, I strive to adapt to each student's needs. With children, I incorporate games into the introduction to piano and music theory to make it more engaging and enjoyable. For adults, I always communicate with the student to tailor the lessons to their individual needs and goals. When preparing for conservatory entrance exams or for conservatory preparation, we focus heavily on the pieces themselves, their context, and the specific areas that pose the greatest challenge for the student in their exam or rehearsals, always maintaining a holistic approach.

FOR STUDENTS WHO PREFER ENGLISH: Hello! My name is Andrea and I offer piano and music lessons for children, beginners and intermediate or advanced students in Valencia. I studied Art History and classical piano at the conservatoire, but we can also approach the instrument from different angles, practicing other musical styles or accompaniment patterns.
I can also help you with ABRSM piano exams and prepare you for entrance exams to conservatoires in Spain. With children, I try to teach using a playful approach, incorporating games, songs and fun. I love teaching and I believe that music is a way of expressing ourselves and also of getting to know ourselves better. I am from the UK and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a distinction and 2:1 in my Bachelor's. I have played in many professional orchestras in the UK including the BBC Philharmonic. I have lots of experience in teaching music and theory. My Spanish is good enough to teach clarinet, piano and music theory. I can teach at my place, online or at your place, whatever is easiest and most convenient!

Repertoire is agreed with the student and adapted to the style of music preferred, together with student needs and objectives.
