If you still want to learn the cello for its rich and warm tones, or if on the contrary you already have a few years of practice but would like to improve, I would be delighted to bring you my knowledge and experience.

During my classes, I also offer to approach music in a broader palette. I can also teach you music theory and the history of music.

The cello being a versatile instrument, I am keen to help you discover the range of techniques, styles and eras of this instrument, which is not restricted to classical music!

About Me
My name is Eléonore, I am 23 years old and I am currently a cello student at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, in the first year of a Master's in Pedagogy, in David Pia's class.
Originally from Fribourg, I can teach between Geneva and Fribourg.

I already have experience as a cello teacher, as I have been teaching privately for several years and have been replacing at the Fribourg Conservatory in 2023-2024.

In 2024, I participated in an educational and musical trip to Mexico during which I had the opportunity to give masterclasses and lessons.

I am interested in all kinds of musical training and styles of music. Chamber music is an area that I am particularly fond of.
I also played for several years in the Fribourg Youth Orchestra, and I had the chance to participate in Masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Ophélie Gaillard, Raphaël Weinroth-Browne and the Sine Nomine Quartet.
In other areas, I am a cellist in the band of Zoë Më, a pop singer from Fribourg. Singing also has a big place in my life, and I also play the piano.

Hope to meet you !

Graduate teacher and concertist (from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Kiev and Master Degree of the F. Liszt Academy of Budapest), I propose to share with you my international experience as well as my passion and enthusiasm for music and music culture in general. After many years spent in symphony and chamber orchestras, I decided to devote a part of my time to teaching and has been teaching for several years in conservatories, schools of music and in the private sector.

Relaxed and demanding at the same time, I will help you express the best of yourself.

Course description:

Modular courses according to the expectations and level of each student (fun and uninhibited approach or very demanding training in the greatest tradition of Russian and international education).

For novices / beginners: it is imperative to start on a good basis, by acquiring from the start the reflexes to quickly produce a beautiful sound and have fun to master this beautiful instrument. Classes can be combined with learning music theory.

For intermediate to advanced levels as well as for conservatoire students: I can bring you a methodology and advice on technical and musical plans, help you expand your repertoire, prepare you for concerts or auditions. These courses can be given in parallel to the teaching of a senior teacher.

Location:

I'm traveling in Geneva and its surroundings. The courses may, therefore, be held at your home or any other place of your choice or at my home in Versoix.

The first lesson / meeting is an opportunity to establish a contact, to talk about your goals and expectations, to explain my work method as well as to discuss a lesson plan. This will allow you to make an informed decision later on.

The schedules are flexible according to the expectations and the possibilities of the pupil.

Age :

All ages: child (from 5 years old), teenager, adult and senior.

Languages:

French, English, Russian, Ukrainian.

Further information :

Need for the student to own a cello except for the first lesson where an instrument can be made available.

Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

References on request

Follow up by email/phone as needed between lessons.

Examples of pieces you will be able to play after a year: works by Bach, Giuliani, Fernando Sor, Carcassi, Aguado, Jeux Interdits, baroque flamenco, romantic works

My name is Christina, I am a piano teacher with a degree from the conservatory specializing in classical piano, as well as a master's degree in music pedagogy. I have been teaching piano for over 15 years and have trained more than a hundred students of all ages and levels.
Passionate about music and its teaching, as both a piano teacher and music education teacher in college, my professional experience extends to different countries.
I have also had the opportunity to participate in various cultural events, as a solo pianist and accompanist for opera singers.
I therefore offer piano lessons at your home throughout the right bank of Geneva, up to Nyon.
My lessons are for children, teenagers, and adults of all levels, whether for simple recreation or for advanced training. I also offer specialized services such as four-hand piano, wellness piano (for behavioral issues such as hyperactivity, stress, stage fright, etc.), preparation for conservatory competitions and exams, and musical awakening for toddlers.

I am here to support you in your own musical journey or that of your child, whether you wish to begin, continue, or resume playing the piano. My lessons are relaxed and take place in a friendly and joyful atmosphere, focused on the love of music. I offer high-quality instruction based on enjoyment and personal growth, without neglecting the essential technical aspects necessary for progress. My motto is to listen to the student and adapt my teaching methods to each individual's pace and needs.
I offer you a wide repertoire including different styles of music:
