I am a Greek violinist, originally from Thessaloniki. I have lived in Vienna since 2009 and completed my studies at the MUK Private University in the class of Lidia Baich. Before that, I studied at the Gnessin Institute in Moscow.

It's especially important to me to offer my students the opportunity to experience music and express themselves in this beautiful language during lessons. Since I myself come from the Russian school, the basic principles of the violin are combined with beautiful sound, expressiveness, and a musical character. And, of course, humor is a must!

I am an Italian pianist with a degree from the F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, performances at home and abroad and international CD releases.
I offer piano accompaniment for instrumentalists and singers. The Italian version of the native language is, I can optimally support singers in the pronunciation of the Italian opera repertoire. In addition to my extensive experience accompanying singers, I have extensive chamber music experience, having performed in duos, trios and quintets and accompanying string players in auditions, competitions and master classes on many different occasions. The rehearsals can take place in English, French or Italian (basic knowledge of German).

I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble.

In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. In my classes, I want to develop what I call a culture of sound: the ability to truly listen, to understand the character and quality of a sound, and to discover how one note can carry emotion, intention, and meaning.

Alongside violin technique, we explore the philosophy of music - why music affects us so deeply, how interpretation changes what we hear, and how musicians learn to communicate something that cannot always be expressed in words.

Playing the violin is also a unique form of mental training. It requires the ears, eyes, hands, memory, imagination, and attention to work together at the same time. In this sense, music is both meditation and one of the most powerful exercises in concentration. Regular practice develops focus, coordination, memory, and the brain's ability to learn.

My goal is therefore not simply to teach someone how to play the violin. I want students to develop a sensitive ear, an individual relationship with sound, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to become completely absorbed in music.
