I have more than seven years of experience in teaching violin, viola, music theory and complementary piano, so no matter what level you are, I can teach you from the ground up. I specialized in classical music but I can also help you to play and learn your favorite songs.
I find it very important to connect mind and body with the instrument, so I like to emphasize from the beginning on relaxation and proper postures to avoid pain or contractions later on. I like to develop a series of relaxation and stretching exercises before and at the end of each class.
I believe that music should be a source of joy and enjoyment before anything else. I don’t have a definite method, as I think I have to adapt to the needs and aptitudes of each student. I can give individual and group lessons (no more than 4 people), so I can also work with small groups.

About Me

My name is Angelica, I’m 30 years old and I’m a Cuban violist living in Vienna since three years ago. I finished my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Arts in Havana, then I came to Austria to continue my studies.
As a teacher I am patient and like to motivate my students.
I like to help each student learn how to do effective individual study.
I have experience playing with professional orchestras in my country and with small chamber music formats, as well as teaching violin and viola at the Vocational School of Art in the city of Holguin.

I offer online piano lessons for adults and children, tailored to your goals and preferences. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Lessons are conducted in English, German and Russian.

My online setup makes the lessons feel just like in-person: I use a tripod to demonstrate my hands and provide an online screen display for sheet music. After each lesson, I send video tutorials for clear, visual examples.

I gladly offer my assistance to you, so that you can achieve your goals efficiently. Here, it's important for me to discover your strengths together and help you develop them further. Of course, I will make sure that you have fun and you stay motivated:) Probably what's special about my lesson is that we're also going to play duets, which should help you learn to listen to other musicians and acquire the skills needed for playing in an ensemble.

In the long run: it's not just about learning the rules and correct techniques; it is also vital that you eventually learn to interpret the music on your own personal way by using your (musical) intelligence, and to have the confidence to break traditional norms. Klára has started playing the piano at the age of four at music school in Mariánské Lázně under the guidance of her mother Marie. Since 2024 she has studied at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
Since childhood she has regularly participated in national and international competitions. In November 2023 she was awarded the 2nd prize at Soutěž Nadace Bohuslava Martinů, further she won f. e. the 1st prize at the “Broumov key”, the 2nd prize at the Ile-de-France international competition in Paris and the 2nd prize at the Fryderyk Chopin international competition in Mariánské Lázně. In December 2022, she received the title of laureate at the Prague Conservatory's international competition “Young Piano”, where she was also awarded the main prize "Young Piano Talent". In 2021, she won 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Stravinsky/Agosti's Firebird (1st prize not awarded) in the international competition Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, 3rd prize in the international competition Bach's Way in Dobřany and 3rd prize in the Brno ́s piano competition.
In the year 2020, she was awarded the "Pilsen ́s Orfeus'' award for representing the Pilsen region in the field of classical music, namely for the 3rd prize in the “Broumov key” competition. She has performed with several orchestras in the Czech republic. In the season 2024/2025 she performed with Janáčkova Filharmonie in Ostrava as a soloist of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto.
In June 2023 and 2025 she was invited to the Academy in Villecroze for masterclass. In 2021, she got the opportunity to attend the Ševčík Academy in the class of Lukáš Vondráček and Yuri Shadrin. Now she collaborates with Ševčík academy as an accompanist.

I have been playing piano since I was six years old and have participated in numerous concerts and masterclasses in Germany (Cologne, Düren), Slovenia, Croatia, North Macedonia and Vienna.
