I specialized in tutoring math for IB and SAT exams as well as IB MYP and DP. I make a strategy with each student on how to reach the highest possible score. There are three stages in prep for IB and SAT: 1. Understanding topics 2. Solving all past papers. 3. Timed practice. I am a qualified and experienced mathematics tutor. Graduated from the Free University of Brussels in 2011, I started my career by teaching remedial courses in different schools in Brussels. I then specialized in individual academic support by following educational training at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I taught in the UK from 2002 to 2007, initially as a supply teacher, then as a full-time teacher of Maths, Science and Chemistry and from 2007 to 2021 in Berlin Germany, teaching IB Chemistry, Science (MYP plus Berlin School Programme) to an age range of 11 to 19 years, and from 2021-date, focusing on online prep for students preparing for International Baccalaureate (IB) mock and May Exams vis-a-vis IB internal Assessment (IA). Over the past years I have worked hard at adapting my strategies for teaching to incorporate different ideas and ‘best practice’ highlighted in recent developments in Science education.
