About Me

My name is Ivo, I'm 23 years old, and I've been studying violin since I was 6. I've participated in bands, chamber orchestras, and string ensembles. I'm currently studying violin at the National University of the Arts and am part of a Latin American music trio, Azucena. I have experience playing both classical music and popular repertoire, from tango and folklore to pop and rock.

I began studying violin at a municipal school and later joined the Leopoldo Marechal Chamber Orchestra, under whose director I received lessons. I am currently in my second year of a Bachelor's degree in Violin at the National University of the Arts.

I formed the Leopoldo Marechal Children's and Youth Orchestra, then the Leopoldo Marechal Chamber Orchestra, and later the Leopoldo Marechal String Ensemble. Among other things, I was in a rock/pop band, composed music for a theater show alongside a pianist, and participated in the recording of the band Hannie's latest album.
