Violin lessons for all ages and levels- English, Portuguese, French and SpanishTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Dear violin lovers! I'm a violin teacher for 10 years now, I have been teaching in Portugal and the Netherlands. My lessons can be given in English, Portuguese, French or Spanish. Playing the violin is my passion, especially when I can pass on my knowledge and love for music to my students of all ages and levels. I work as a team with you, finding the right method that fit your needs. What is important for me is to work on a good connection with the instrument and find the right basis for the start of your violin playing. In my violin lessons, I would like also to share with you my musical knowledge, show you recordings of great violin players, prepare with you pieces that you always wanted to play and give you the tools so you can achieve your goals in music. I like to share the general knowledge of violin playing as well as basic and intermediate music theory lessons so you can enter in the world of music, but especially to have fun!! My lessons can be shared between violin and theory together depending on what you are looking for. The lessons will be at my house if you are in need of an instrument we can find one for you! I did my Bachelor at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with the teachers Maria Milstein and Eliot Lawson and completed my Masters in Performance degree with excellency as well in Amsterdam under the guidance of Liviu Prunaru and Mathieu van Bellen while studying baroque violin with Shunske Sato. I have my own violin class in Amsterdam, and I love teaching. I look forward to sharing this adventure with you! Hope to hear from you! Louisa

Synth School! Creating Sound with Hardware and Software Music SynthesizersTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Have you bought a synthesizer or modular rig and are not sure where to start? Tired of using stock presets when working with softsynths in your DAW? Ready to learn how it all *works*? Learn from a pro - Andrew built Studio D, the electronic music suite at Omega Studios in Washington, DC. He created and ran the electronic music curriculum at Omega's School of Recording Arts and Sciences, where his students included industry professionals and recording artists like BT (EDM/trance pioneer, DJ and soundtrack composer). Andrew holds a degree in Electronic Music from the American University, and is an avid synthpop producer himself, via his band Birmingham Electric, where he regularly works with collaborators including Peter Hook (New Order), Malcolm Holmes (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark), Marco Pirroni (Adam and the Ants, Sinead O'Connor, Siouxsie and the Banshees) and Mark Reeder (MFS Records, Factory Records). He performs with synths live on a regular basis as well. Andrew is a firm believer in going back to the root fundamentals and gaining a deep understanding of how sound works, as well as experiencing synthesis hands-on to build "muscle memory" for programming. Learn at your pace - whether you're an absolute newbie or further along and exploring where to go next. It's possible to learn in Andrew's studio in Haarlem, or in your own space on your own gear. You don't need to have any synths to get started, but if you do, we can use them. Topics including - - How sound works (a little friendly physics) - Ways we model sound and the major types of synthesizers - Hands-on with different synthesis techniques - Translating sound ideas to synthesis - Using synths in music composition - Performing live with hardware and/or software synths - How to choose synths or plugins for your studio - Setting up your workspace - and workflow Ready to up your synth game? Mathematics (A/B/C/D) and physics tutoring for every secondary education levelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics (A/B/C/D) and physics tutoring for every secondary education levelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

This is what a lesson with me looks like. As a student at the TU, I tutor mathematics (all levels and all profiles — Mathematics A, B, C, and D) and physics to students in VMBO, HAVO, and VWO. Whether you are stuck on a single topic, want to improve your grade, or are preparing for your final exams: I tailor the lesson to your needs. A typical one-hour lesson looks like this. We start with a short check-in: what did you cover in class this week, what did you struggle with, and what homework or test is coming up? Based on that, we determine the focus of the lesson together. Then we get to the material. I explain the topic again, but in a way that resonates with you — with examples, diagrams, or by going through a problem step by step together. I think it's important that you know not only the answer but also why something works. That makes a huge difference during tests, because you can then apply the material to problems you haven't seen before. Next, you will practice on your own while I observe. If you get stuck, I will provide guidance; if things are going well, I will move on to a more difficult variation. We will conclude with a brief summary of what we have done and agree on what you will work on independently until the next lesson. Between classes, you can always send me a message with a question or a photo of a problem you can't figure out — that's part of it. What I can help you with Explanation of difficult topics: algebra, functions, trigonometry, differentiation and integration, probability, vectors, mechanics, electricity, and everything related. Homework assistance and test preparation Exam training Mathematics A/B/C/D and Physics (HAVO and VWO) Catch up if you have just moved to a higher level or chosen a new profile Approach Mathematics and physics are subjects that you only truly understand once you have worked with them yourself. My role is to clarify the material, give you the confidence to persevere, and teach you how to tackle a problem independently — so that you are no longer dependent on me during the test. Lessons can take place at home or online via video call, whichever suits you best.

Play the clarinet with Joy : tell your story through art and musicTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Learn, Create, and Perform with Poppie-Joy (SOON : LESSONS IN DUTCH) With a background melting classical and contemporary clarinet performance, to theatrical movement, masks, and storytelling, I bring a fresh approach to music education. My experience includes leading creative workshops for children through the Philharmonie de Paris and developing artistic projects for young audiences. In my classes, we explore sound as character, rhythm as movement, and performance as story. For me, the body is the key to learning : I guide students to develop their body awareness as part of learning, an approach often missing from traditional lessons. We will explore: Clarinet technique Musical interpretation Improvisation and creativity exercises Stage presence, movement, and breathing Connecting music to visual or theatrical elements Bonus (if possible and committed!) :programming small performances for families, social gatherings, or cultural events My teaching philosophy: Music is not only notes on a page, it’s a living art that connects body, breath, and imagination. I meet each student where they are, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and authentic expression. Open to all ages and levels, from beginners discovering their first notes to advanced players seeking to deepen their artistry.

Pablo is a great teacher! I began taking drum lessons again after a 8 year break from playing and Pablo has really helped me to get back my passion for drums while cleaning out some old bad habits. He has structured lessons which he tailors to my individual flaws and desires which is really appreciated. He's a down to earth guy, really easy to communicate (Fantastic English) with and organise lessons, even with last minute changes driven by my calendar. I really like his overall approach to drums, the tips and tricks I'm picking up from him are things you won't necessarily pick up by practising alone or reading a book/youtube etc. He focuses on reading music, different playing techniques and playing things which give you enjoyment. For someone who already plays drums and is looking to improve and have fun a long the way, I really couldn't recommend Pablo more!

Going back to learning Japanese with Ayumi was the right choice. She caters to my wants and needs as a student, is dedicated in bringing new information and making sure I am learning correctly. She is a very enjoyable company and always has interesting topics to talk about, helping myself to improve really fast.

Excellent tutor! Louisa is very professional, dedicated, and patient. She gives a great deal of feedback during the sessions which is always clear and intuitive. Really motivates you to develop your technique and musicality at a good pace.
