I'm a Swiss-American who lived in the U.S. for over 15 years. A bi-lingual German and English speaker, I have over 7 years' experience tutoring privately for speaking and writing, including in advanced composition and essay-writing. I have worked with students of all ages. As a writing tutor, I primarily focused on helping high-school and college students improve their writing. I can offer one-on-one tutoring to help you learn more about the speaking part of IELTS and help you achieve the band score you need. I can help you identify areas to improve, like:
- how many and what kind of grammar mistakes you're making when speaking
- how to improve your pronunciation to be more accurate in clear
- how to hold a conversation and meet the examiner's expectations
- how to expand your vocabulary to be more appropriate for the test

I am a native English speaker and have years of experience as a university academic English lecturer (including IELTS workshops). I know university's expectations for students' speaking abilities and how the IELTS tests this.

Together we can cover the structure of the test and practice so that you gain some experience before the actual test date.
