Often, motivated students struggle academically simply because they have not yet learned how to study effectively. My teaching method focuses on clearly presenting the concrete concepts that lie behind formulas, which may initially seem abstract. Once the student understands these ideas, practice through exercises will provide them with the confidence they need.
