English is a world language and therefore very important to learn for your child's future. Learning it at a young age will benefit him or her greatly in areas such as work and school, but also in the area of traveling and making international friends. If your child still has difficulty speaking Dutch, I can also help with that.

As non-Dutch speaking parents, it is certainly not easy to teach your children Dutch or help them become more fluent in the new language. Who wants some extra exercise for their kids? I would like to help you with that. As their vocabulary expands and their sentences become more fluent, your children will become more confident. A good command of the Dutch language is certainly to their advantage, both now and in the future. Do your children need some help with their homework, especially with their Dutch, then I can help with that. Even as non-native-speaking adults, it is sometimes difficult to have enough exercise. That is why adults who want to make progress in speaking the Dutch language are welcome here! We can practice the everyday language together. Conversing is the best way to learn a new language. Talking about Computers, it is a very interesting subject. As technology is advancing at a rapid pace, we rely more and more on computers for everything from playing games to organizing our taxes. An understanding of computer basics is compulsory nowadays. I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science and this course is designed according to your level of understanding of computers. We'll be practically doing things on Computers and see the things happening over there. Starting from Computer basics which includes computer knowledge of Operating system, hardware-software components, internet, World Wide Web(WWW), different web browsers, and other basic functionalities of a computer system. Then moving on to basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and preparing professional presentations (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Powerpoint) and creating simple web pages through HTML. Apart from this if you wish, we can move to the advanced level of each of them. I'll be teaching you in a very simple way so that you grab the concepts easily. Let's start and do something innovative.

I am a university student and I would like to tutor girls online to support them at secondary level. You can contact me if you have difficulty with learning or for example projects and homework. I have completed German, English and Dutch at VWO level.

In these personal sessions I offer children and young people support with study skills, homework guidance and subject-specific tutoring. We work together to improve learning, planning and organizing and to improve results for specific subjects when necessary. We also pay attention to personal development: dealing with motivational problems, fear of failure and increasing self-confidence. The guidance is fully tailored to individual needs, so that every student can develop confidently and successfully – both at school and outside of school. I work from a warm and positive approach, in which growth, independence and enjoyment of learning are central.

In our class we will be relaxed, I will help you with the Dutch conversation, the grammar, reading (like an article or a topic what I will give you). I will help students for beginners-lower-intermediate level. After every lesson I will give you homework for the next lesson. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.
