Is corporate training boring? Would you rather shoot yourself every time they send you to a course? Do it with an actor! With APS, you have fun while learning! Acting means acting, acting, but also "to play" means acting, playing, but also playing. That must mean something... :) We're all always in front of an audience! 1, 10, 100, 1000 people! Who knows better than an actor? Who is more accustomed to public speaking than an actor? And besides... it's more fun! Starting from the essential elements of communication, APS (Acting Public Speaking) lessons integrate many of the basic elements of acting into public speaking, in a way that draws on the teacher's direct experience. We will therefore work on the "classic" basic elements of communication (verbal, nonverbal, paraverbal), as well as on preparing a public speech: choosing the content, sources, setting, and many other aspects that make a public speech effective. My acting approach focuses on breathing, voice use, the basics of diction (articulation and elements of orthoepy), listening and observing oneself and others, memorization, body language, posture, and audience engagement. Get your content across in a conversation, a job interview, a conference, an exam, a quiz, a performance (amateur or otherwise), or when you read your writing! Breathe, listen, and speak to your audience using acting techniques. Have fun speaking in public. If you have fun, your audience will have fun too, and they'll be more willing to listen to you, even if the topic is very serious! After all, who better than an actor... Oh, I already said that... But... did I mention there's also fun to be had? ATTENTION! The class schedule is indicative: contact me if you prefer other times!

English is no longer a constraint, it is a liberation >>> MY UNIQUE APPROACH My approach is designed for those who have tried everything without success, or who are paralyzed by the fear of speaking or blocked in their learning. You repeat, repeat, repeat, but it just doesn't sink in! Forget theoretical lessons, endless conjugations, and decontextualized grammar exercises. My goal is not (only) to give you lessons, but to help you free yourself from your blockages so that you can finally speak and learn English with pleasure and ease. >>> THE MISTAKE NOT TO MAKE: WHY ARE YOU STUCK? It's a common misconception that becoming bilingual is as simple as practicing and using tools. Of course, practice is essential, but the heart of the problem lies elsewhere: in your brain. Speaking blocks aren't a lack of skill, but a reaction your brain makes to a situation perceived as dangerous. This is where neuroscience comes in. The mechanism is simple and powerful: Every time you've had a negative experience while practicing English (being mocked, having difficulty, experiencing exam stress), your brain has registered that moment as a danger. Or you've tried again and again to learn but it's stuck! The amygdala, the part of your brain responsible for managing emotions and fears, has created an association between English and stress. Now, every time you're about to speak or study English, your brain sends a "danger" signal and activates a survival response: freezing. It's a defense mechanism that prevents you from practicing English, or even speaking, even if you know the words. >>> THE SOLUTION: BEYOND REPETITION My method goes beyond simple repetition. As a certified coach specializing in public speaking, I have already supported business leaders with their presentations, students with their oral exams, and individuals with their interviews. My role is to help you reprogram your brain by dissociating English from fear. We will create new, positive neural connections so that when you speak, or immerse yourself in learning the language, your brain sends a signal of pleasure, not danger. >>> HOW ARE THE COURSES RUN? The course of our sessions is simple and focused on your results: Step 1: Unblocking. We begin by identifying and deconstructing together the fears and barriers that prevent you from expressing yourself. No judgment, only listening and kindness. Step 2: Playful immersion. We move on to practice. I suggest role-playing games, discussions on topics that interest you, or original activities that make you forget that you're "learning." Step 3: Consolidation. Each session ends with a time to discuss your progress, your victories (however small), and the areas we will work on. >>> WHO ARE THESE COURSES FOR? >< (adults and teens from 8th grade) who have some knowledge of English but are stuck speaking or learning the language. For them, the goal is to regain the confidence needed to express themselves in a personal or professional context. Or to regain confidence in their ability to learn. >< (CP to CM2) who are discovering English. For young people, Montessori teaching allows them to discover English without the pressure of failure, which protects them from future blockages. >>> MY MISSION AND MY SPECIFICITY MY MISSION is to take you from "I can't" to "I can do it, and I love it." MY SPECIFICITY is not to teach you English, but to show you that you already have it within you. You just have to unleash it.
