Digital SAT Preparation Support from a 1540 ScorerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Digital SAT Preparation Support from a 1540 ScorerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

TL;DR: If you're preparing for the Digital SAT and need guidance, I'm here to help. I scored 1540 (750 in English, 790 in Math) and am currently studying Quantum Technology at Aalto University on a scholarship. Here's everything you need to know: About Me I’m currently a first-year bachelor’s student at the School of Science in Aalto University, where I secured a highly competitive full-tuition scholarship thanks to my SAT score (1540: Math 790, English 750). I’ve been an SAT tutor for over a year now, teaching both group classes and one-on-one sessions. In total, I’ve helped more than 70 students reach their SAT goals. Back in Bangladesh, I worked as an SAT instructor at Mentors' and developed the SAT teaching curriculum at Noetic. With this experience under my belt, I’ve designed a teaching method that’s effective, flexible, and, most importantly, tailored to you. How My Classes Work The SAT is all about finding patterns and mastering the "game". My classes are structured to help you do exactly that. In each class, I will teach you some theoretical basics first and then make you go through some actual SAT problems related to those basics. It's not about me showing you how to solve, rather it's about making you capable to think like a 1500+ scorer. In the process, I'll observe your thought process and give feedback on where you are going wrong and what you doing right. Sounds impressive? Here’s the class breakdown: English Classes Words in Context Text Structure and Purpose Cross-Text Connections Central Ideas and Details Command of Evidence (Textual, Quantitative) Inferences Boundaries Form, Structure, and Sense Rhetorical Synthesis Transitions Math Classes Algebra: 3 sessions Advanced Math: 3 sessions Problem Solving and Data Analysis: 3 sessions Geometry and Trigonometry: 2 sessions Don’t worry; the number of classes is flexible. If you’re already confident in certain topics, we’ll skip them and focus on what needs improvement. This isn’t a cookie-cutter course—it’s all about what works best for you. Logistics Duration: Each class is 1.5 hours. Preferred Schedule: After 6 PM (but we can discuss). Class Options: Online (Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams) or in-person (either at Aalto University, my place, or yours (applicable for Espoo and Helsinki)). Why Choose Me? Sure, there are tons of SAT prep courses out there. But when you hit a wall or feel like your progress has plateaued, that’s where I come in. You'll choose me because — a) I have a high score, so I know how to crack this. b) I have taken the SAT on Oct, 2023 and since then taught more than 70 students all over the world. So, I am updated with the curriculum and process. c) I am already studying in a reputed university with scholarship leveraging my SAT score. So, I can guide through the admission process (be it in Europe or US) as well. d) I am a no bullshit guy. If you need 2/3 classes only, that's fine. If you need 20 classes, that's also fine. I am here to make money but not to exploit. So, I offer huge flexibility. I’ll help you: Identify the SAT’s patterns and tricks. Focus on your weak areas while leveraging your strengths. Understand the nuances of scoring 1500+. Navigate college admissions (both in the U.S. and Europe). Plus, if you’re up for it, you’ll get free life advice and philosophical discussions along the way. (Yes, seriously.) What My Students Say A lot of my students start off feeling stuck and overwhelmed but end up feeling confident and in control. They’ve told me that my approach is not just practical and effective, but surprisingly enjoyable too! The SAT isn’t just a test—it’s a challenge you can conquer with the right mindset and strategies. Ready to Get Started? Whether you’re aiming for a 1200 or pushing for a 1550+, I’m here to help you achieve your goals. Let’s make this happen together. Reach out, and let’s chat about how I can support your SAT journey. Looking forward to hearing from you!

SWISS-BASED ONLINE TUTOR FOR AP, SAT, ACT AND AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL MATH & SCIENCETranslate this text using Google Translate.

SWISS-BASED ONLINE TUTOR FOR AP, SAT, ACT AND AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL MATH & SCIENCETranslate this text using Google Translate.

Students following American-style academic pathways often need very specific support. They are not only learning Mathematics, Science or Statistics; they are also preparing for systems where GPA, course grades, AP results, SAT/ACT scores and university applications can all matter at the same time. American High School courses, AP exams, SAT and ACT preparation require strong foundations, fast problem-solving, clear reasoning and regular practice with the right type of questions. This is exactly where I help. → I am a Switzerland-based tutor with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and technical sciences. My education in the Swiss higher education system has shaped the way I teach: precise, structured, logical and focused on real understanding. → Over the years, I have taught many students from international schools, American-style school programmes, British curriculum schools and Swiss schools. Through this experience, I have become very familiar with the common difficulties students face in SAT Math, ACT Math, ACT Science, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry and American High School Math and Science courses. → I also work with previous exam papers, official-style practice questions, AP-style exercises, SAT/ACT-style questions and topic-based material. This allows my lessons to be highly exam-focused. Students do not only learn the theory; they practice the type of questions they are likely to meet in school tests, AP exams, SAT/ACT exams and final assessments. → MY MAIN TEACHING FOCUS → I mainly support students in SAT Math, ACT Math, ACT Science, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry and American High School Math and Science courses. → This includes Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Probability, Functions, Graphs, Trigonometry, Vectors, Mechanics, Electricity, Waves, Stoichiometry, Equilibrium, Acids and Bases, Kinetics and Electrochemistry. → I also support students who are preparing for university entrance exams, school-specific assessments, placement tests or international university applications where strong Mathematics and Science results are important. → SPECIFIC SUPPORT FOR SAT, ACT, AP AND AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL COURSES For SAT Math, I help students improve speed, accuracy and confidence. The main focus is on Algebra, functions, quadratic equations, systems of equations, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability and word problems. SAT Math questions often test familiar topics in unfamiliar ways, so students need strong foundations and smart exam technique. I teach students how to recognize patterns, avoid traps and solve questions efficiently under time pressure. → For ACT Math, I support students with the wide range of topics tested in the exam. ACT Math is fast, broad and time-sensitive, so students need both knowledge and strategy. I help students revise key areas such as algebra, geometry, functions, trigonometry, probability and statistics, while also improving timing, accuracy and decision-making during the exam. → For ACT Science, I focus on graph reading, table interpretation, experimental reasoning and scientific data analysis. Many students think ACT Science is mainly about memorizing Biology, Chemistry or Physics facts, but in reality it tests how quickly and accurately students can understand scientific information. I train students to read graphs, compare data, understand experiments and answer questions under time pressure. → For AP Calculus AB, I support students with limits, derivatives, applications of differentiation, integrals, applications of integration and basic differential equations. I help students understand the logic behind calculus, not only memorize rules. Students learn how to connect graphs, formulas, word problems and written explanations. → For AP Calculus BC, I cover all AP Calculus AB topics and also support students with more advanced topics such as sequences, series, convergence tests, Taylor series, parametric equations, polar functions and advanced integration ideas. AP Calculus BC requires strong algebra, clear thinking and regular exam-style practice. → For AP Statistics, I help students with descriptive statistics, probability, distributions, sampling, experimental design, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, regression and interpretation of results. AP Statistics is not only about calculations; students also need to explain results clearly in words. I help them write answers in the correct statistical language. → For AP Physics, I support students with mechanics, forces, energy, momentum, circular motion, rotation, electricity, circuits, waves and other topics depending on the exact AP Physics course. The focus is on understanding concepts, choosing the correct formula, using units properly and explaining physical reasoning clearly. → For AP Chemistry, I help students with stoichiometry, atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, thermodynamics, equilibrium, acids and bases, kinetics and electrochemistry. Students often struggle because Chemistry combines theory, formulas and multi-step calculations. I break the topic down clearly and practice exam-style questions until the method becomes understandable. → WHY EXPERIENCE WITH THESE EXAMS MATTERS → Every American-style exam and course has its own logic. SAT Math often tests simple topics in clever ways and rewards speed, accuracy and pattern recognition. ACT Math is broad and time-pressured, so students need both knowledge and fast decision-making. ACT Science is not mainly about memorizing science facts; it focuses on graphs, tables, experiments, data interpretation and scientific reasoning. → AP exams are different again. AP Calculus requires deep understanding of limits, derivatives, integrals and applications. AP Statistics requires careful interpretation, correct language and clear reasoning. AP Physics and AP Chemistry require students to connect concepts with calculations and explain their thinking clearly. → Because I have taught many students preparing for these subjects, I understand the difference between knowing the topic and being able to perform well under exam conditions. A student may understand the lesson in school, but still lose marks because the method is incomplete, the explanation is unclear, the calculation is rushed, or the question is misunderstood. → That is why my lessons are not random. I use a structured system: first we build the foundation, then we practice topic-based questions, and then we move towards mixed exam-style problems. This helps students become more confident, faster and more independent.

SAT 1500+ Mastery | Proven Strategies to Score HigherTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I scored a 1550 on the SAT and have been helping students prepare for the SAT for over 3 years, with a consistent focus on helping students reach and exceed the 1500+ range. This class is designed to go beyond simply reviewing SAT content. We will focus on strategy, efficiency, accuracy, and the specific habits that separate a good SAT score from an exceptional one. What we will focus on - How to approach difficult SAT questions efficiently - Strategies for consistently scoring 1500+ - How to recognize common SAT question patterns and traps - Techniques for eliminating answer choices quickly - How to manage time effectively across the entire test - When to use your calculator and how to use it efficiently - How to approach unfamiliar questions without getting stuck - Strategies for maximizing both Math and Reading & Writing - Common mistakes that prevent students from breaking 1500 - How to analyze practice tests and identify exactly where points are being lost - How to turn weaknesses into measurable score improvements Advanced strategies for students already scoring in the 1400–1500+ range We will work through challenging, realistic SAT-style questions and focus on why certain approaches work, rather than simply memorizing rules or solutions. Whether you are trying to break 1400, reach 1500, or push toward 1550+, the goal of this class is to give you a clear strategy for approaching the SAT and maximizing every available point. You don't need to know everything to score 1500+. You need to know how to recognize the question, choose the right strategy, and execute it efficiently.

I have been taking mathematical reasoning classes with Leila to prepare for EPSO competitions, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. She is extremely kind, patient, and supportive, which makes even challenging topics much easier to approach. Leila has a real talent for explaining complex concepts in a clear and structured way, and she knows exactly how to adapt her teaching to the student’s needs. She is also very motivating and encouraging, which helped me gain confidence and stay consistent in my preparation. An excellent teacher for anyone preparing for EPSO exams.

My 11 old daughter Sasha really likes to study math with Kevin, because he knows a lot of new things, that she didn't know and it's always interesting to work with him. Kevin and Sasha speak in German which is very important for us, as Sasha is preparing for the Swiss gymnasium. Our main goal to be ready for gymnasium math exam and we think that Kevin fits well for it.
