My primary focus is on creating a personal connection and approach to the chosen instruments and to music in general. This includes (depending on your wishes, of course) your own musical expression, improvisation, songwriting (with lyrics if desired), song accompaniment and improvisation, as well as music theory and instrument-specific references. Stylistically, the focus is on blues, rock, folk pop and world music, with strong references and influences from classical music, hip hop, electronic music and jazz. Course for beginners and advanced students My course focuses on the personal realtion between the individual, the chosen instruments and the music itself. This includes musical expression, improvisation, songwriting, songwriting, interpretation as well as music theory and specific aspects of the instrument. My musical background lies between blues, folk, rock, pop and world music with influences from classical, as well as electronic music, hip hop and jazz.

Let’s start making music together! EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: I'm graduated magna cum laude from Milano Conservatory in MA jazz guitar and I have a MA in Composition from Jazzcampus, Basel. I've worked in several schools here in Basel and in Italy and I have plenty of experience with kids an adults too!

Eyal has taught hundreds of students over the past 15 years, both guitar and piano next to music theory and composition. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including Rock, Blues, Jazz, classical music, electronic music, and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach which can be adjusted to every student separately. Solos, chords, improvisations, heavy distortion or acoustic guitar, playing at a party or jumping on stages, reading notes, or playing by ear. Maybe you know exactly what you want, and maybe you are not sure. In Eyal's view, the job of the teacher is to help you find that out, and guide you through your process. Johann Sebastian Bach or John Lennon? Sergei Rachmaninoff or Freddie Mercury? Regina Spektor? Nina Simone? Maybe Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart? Complex harmonies or simple melodies? Classical pieces or modern tunes? The only right answer is what you find interesting.
