Hi! I’m Shreya, a contemporary vocal coach, singer-songwriter and performer. I hold an MA in Vocal Studies (Distinction) and a BMus in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) (Distinction) from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), London. I love helping singers understand their voices, build confidence and find a sound that feels like their own. My lessons combine practical vocal technique with song interpretation, stage performance skills and creative exploration, and are always tailored to what you want to work on. We can work on anything from improving your tone, range, pitch and vocal freedom to preparing a song for a performance or audition. I also offer songwriting lessons, if you’d like to develop your own songs and ideas. I teach contemporary styles, including pop, soul, pop-rock, and country, drawing on approaches such as Estill Voice Training, MDH Breathing Coordination, the Alexander Technique, and more to help develop the voice as a whole, connecting voice, body, and mind. Whether you’re just starting out or already have experience singing, my aim is for lessons to be supportive, curious and genuinely enjoyable while giving you practical tools you can take into your own practice.

I offer classes for beginners of guitar, bass, piano, drums, music theory, and music production. My aim with these classes is to give the freedom of expression through the instrument and the knowledge of music to the student as soon as possible enough to be able to jam comfortably with friends at first and add the most complicated subjects once established confidence and passion, I often use music and philosophy to explain each other during lessons cause I'm really passionate about both and I personally often used music rules to compared to real-life to understand the way they both works. I have a studio where I can give my lessons, especially for drummers and a piano at home if you don't have one. If the student has the instrument and a place where to have lessons I'm also up to come to that place to let the student be in its comfortable environment.

The guitar is an excellent instrument to learn and it can be used for many different purposes. You can use it to learn and play your favourite songs. You can also use it to express yourself and write songs. You can even use it as a way to work with other musicians and perform at gigs! In each class I will teach you about the basics of playing guitar and how you can learn it. I have a strong knowledge of music theory on guitar which I usually try to incorporate into the playing aspect of learning guitar. The benefit of doing this is that it allows you to learn the movements and knowledge behind playing guitar, all while having fun learning a new instrument!

Learn Guitar while improving the powerful tool of songwriting, developing basic music production skills. You will learn how to play guitar the basics of music theory and how to apply it in songwriting. I will guide you to understand different music genres and how to capture their sound signature, helping you to develop your own sound and style. Together we will explore different types of music production techniques and how to implement them in your writing process. Gradually I will introduce different approaches to writing music and develop your musical and compositional skills to become a fully efficient songwriter and music producer.

If you are interested in composition, music production, songwriting and performance but feel like you need some technical or creative motivation, this is the lesson for you. If you feel discouraged or overwhelmed by the technical aspects of a creative process, this is the lesson for you. In these lessons, we will work on making the most of what we have through creative-problem solving and inspiration-hunting. You bring your ideas and we develop them together, have challenging conversations and explore alternative approaches to composition, production and songwriting to get you closer to your vision. We will also explore the many possibilities of working with a live band, ensemble or orchestra and how to encourage a healthy but focused work process. For me, lessons are not about rushing through theory or trying to sound “correct” as quickly as possible. They’re about finding what excites you, understanding the music you already love, and building the skills to play, create, and express yourself with confidence. Lessons can focus on one area or combine things naturally — for example, learning guitar while writing your own songs, or using Ableton to develop an idea into a full arrangement. My goal is to keep music curious, practical, and enjoyable, and to help each student find their own way into it.

I specialise in teaching song writing and composition in all genres to any ability. In lessons we will look at harmony, melody, lyrics and if desired music production to help advance your songwriting ability. As a songwriter and producer I have had music featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 and many more. I also have a masters degree in songwriting and composition from Leeds College of Music and a 1st class BA(Hons) degree in songwriting and jazz performance.

As a rare combination of both Drummer and Lyricist (they don't usually trust the drummer to do the fancy stuff!) I have been working on both crafts for nearly 20 years. At 24 years old, it's safe to say I have spent my life working on songwriting and performing. I would love to be able to help others, who like myself, have gone through writer's block and 'blips' in songwriting where you just can't find a motive. I am also looking to help aspiring drummer's get to grips with the basic techniques and hone in your unique style to get started behind the kit!

This class is for people who want to learn practical music theory (what pros use) and how to implement scale, modes, extend chord and voicing, harmony and & melody hooks it into writing songs, arrangements and lyrics. I teach how to condense songs or music into its main elements and how to make changes to keep the listener's ear interested, for example making changes in verses, adding unexpected elements and using inversions, making the most out of middle 8 etc. It's important to make your song interesting and not repetitive.

Performance coaching covers many areas, from being in a band to public speaking and simply developing confidence in daily life. I teach guitar and other instruments, singing, songwriting, song arranging, stage presence techniques ( yes it can be learned!) and many more aspects to bring out the best of each individual, tailoring each class to the specific needs and goals of the student.
