As an award winning songwriter and professionally teaching musician myself, I love sharing my knowledge with those looking to learn a new skill, develop their craft, or simply take up a new hobby! These lessons are open to absolutely anybody who want to try something new. Each lesson is specifically catered to the students needs and requirements, as we strive to develop whichever aspect of music craft you may be looking for! Want to sing and play your favourite songs? Want to write and produce your own music? Want to learn about what makes music "sound good"? We can cover any and all of these, and more! Having taught 2 - 50+ year olds for 10+ years, my instrument specialties include guitar, electric guitar, piano, bass guitar, double bass, ukulele, trombone, voice and some other odd and wacky things! Additionally, I have been working as a professional song-writer for 10+ years, having studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and winning awards such as Best Song Written for Film and TV at the APRA Awards in Australia. My lessons are heavily tailored to the needs and interests of my students, whether that be learning to write/edit/improve lyrics and melodies, a crash course in music theory, putting chord progressions together, finishing songs and developing productive routines, or adding some accountability and objective feedback to your process. Working as a professional songwriter and studying MA Songwriting has equipped me with a wealth of tools to sharpen the technical craft of a song and to harness the creative process to bring the best out of other songwriters. In lessons, I draw from this to help new writers develop their own unique voices. I'm a big believer in constantly writing and sharing so I like to set weekly briefs to encourage you to write in new ways and then give detailed and constructive feedback that will help you grow. I know from experience that sharing new songs can be unnerving so I take a lot of care helping people overcome this hurdle. Outside of classes, I'm open to discuss songs, technique, career goals, co-writing, learning resources, and other topics that will help you develop as a songwriter. I'm a professional songwriter with over nine years writing experience and countless co-writes in the tank. I regularly write with artists in the UK, around Europe, and in the US and have recently started taking my first production clients. As a writer, I'm primarily concerned by the lyric, form and structure side of writing but, with guitar as my main instrument, also usually write the majority of the musical elements. My specialities are in alt-pop, indie-rock, acoustic pop, and folk but also have experience in RnB and country.

Songwriting is a great skill to have and a useful means of expression. Songwriting and musicianship involve using your instrument (guitar or keyboard usually) to create a song (lyrics and music) or piece of instrumental music if you prefer. I will guide you through the theory in as much or as little depth as you prefer, using it merely as a tool to better learn your craft of composition. For less experienced musicians, we can use my own color music system to find and remember where notes are on the instrument. Whether you are already an aspiring songwriter, just beginning, or thinking about embarking on the journey of learning to be a songwriter, these classes can offer you a scaffolding upon which to hang your talent. Together we can flesh out the ideas of your compositions that when realized will give you an incredible feeling of having created your own structure of beautiful sounds.

I am Natalia, a pianist, composer, and music teacher. Music plays a central role in my life and forms the basis of everything I do: playing, creating, and teaching. At the piano, I constantly discover and develop new musical ideas. Composing music is a natural way for me to express feelings, atmosphere, and stories. Sometimes a composition originates from a small motif or a simple melody that slowly develops into a complete piece of music. My inspiration comes from various sources: life, emotions, nature, films, stories, and moments of silence in which music can arise spontaneously. My music moves between various styles, with a strong emphasis on melody, atmosphere, and emotion. The foundation often lies in the piano sound, but the musical language I use can contain classical influences as well as modern, cinematic, or popular elements. I love music that evokes images and tells a story, as if the listener can feel a scene or a world simply by listening. In addition to composing, I also share my musical experience as a music teacher. In my piano lessons, I want to teach students not only how to play notes, but also how to understand, interpret, and experience music. For me, learning music is a process in which technique, listening, creativity, and expression come together. Therefore, in my lessons, I pay attention to musicality, interpretation, and developing a personal musical voice. My experience as a composer also influences my teaching style. I help students not only to perform music, but also to understand how music is structured and how a melody, harmony, or rhythm is created. In this way, they not only learn to play the piano but also develop deeper musical insight and creativity. To me, music is a living art form that is constantly growing. As a pianist, composer, and teacher, I want to continue creating, sharing, and passing on music to I write and play music for a variety of projects where powerful and meaningful music is needed. Eyal has taught hundreds of students over the past 15 years, both guitar and piano next to music theory and composition. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including Rock, Blues, Jazz, classical music, electronic music, and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach which can be adjusted to every student separately. Solos, chords, improvisations, heavy distortion or acoustic guitar, playing at a party or jumping on stages, reading notes, or playing by ear. Maybe you know exactly what you want, and maybe you are not sure. In Eyal's view, the job of the teacher is to help you find that out, and guide you through your process. Johann Sebastian Bach or John Lennon? Sergei Rachmaninoff or Freddie Mercury? Regina Spektor? Nina Simone? Maybe Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart? Complex harmonies or simple melodies?
