Songwriting is a great skill to have and a useful means of expression. Songwriting and musicianship involve using your instrument (guitar or keyboard usually) to create a song (lyrics and music) or piece of instrumental music if you prefer.

I will guide you through the theory in as much or as little depth as you prefer, using it merely as a tool to better learn your craft of composition. For less experienced musicians, we can use my own color music system to find and remember where notes are on the instrument.

Whether you are already an aspiring songwriter, just beginning, or thinking about embarking on the journey of learning to be a songwriter, these classes can offer you a scaffolding upon which to hang your talent. Together we can flesh out the ideas of your compositions that when realized will give you an incredible feeling of having created your own structure of beautiful sounds.

About Me

Now a qualified Teacher of Music, for much of my life I was largely a self taught singer-songwriter and guitarist / keyboardist who had won songwriting and pop personality competitions, scored music publishing deals, had my music in film, advertisement, documentaries, and played live on radio stations.
It was later that I formally studied music and developed my colour music system to support learning music whilst completing a Music Degree at Goldsmiths, graduating with 1st Class Honours.
As a music teacher in SEN schools I have witnessed the positive impact that creating music through exploring has on people with physicals and learning disabilities and have found some of the most valuable musical contributions from pupils in these settings.
I am a nurturing and encouraging teacher with a sense of humour and great patience.

SEN music provides individuals with learning / physical disabilities a highly musical experience in a supportive and fun environment.

Whether a beginner musician or more advanced, these 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions enable the individual to access music and improvisation using real and virtual musical instruments.

Where appropriate my colour music systems can support learning and interactions.

This highly valuable musical experience can provide respite for parents / carers, or equally parents / carers are welcome to join in.

If you enjoy rap music and would like to learn how to improve your technique then I am here to help you!
I have many years of experience teaching, performing and recording my own music. I sing, rap, write lyrics and have performed with a band in the past.
I can cover different styles including Hip Hop and Grime.
We will also cover lyric writing where I can help you with your flows and technique to create your own original material. There is an option to get custom made beats to help you create your own original tracks.

My name is Armin and I'm a composer, songwriter, sound engineer and of course guitar player graduated from Brunel University in 2011 (MA). Since then I have worked with so many students; from age 5 to adults. I have also worked with young musicians in groups and lead their ensemble to reach their highest potentials.

I teach acoustic/electric and nylon strings guitar in variety of styles. The goal is to help you to find what is best for you. I have many students successfully passed both ABRSM and Trinity College grades.

- You will develop the complete understanding of how the instrument is working and learn all the notes on the fretboard.

- You will learn how to read music (notation/tableture/chord diagrams)

- Your understanding of the chords will improve quickly so you can play your favourite songs within 2 months.

- We will go through basics of Music theory in order to give you a better understanding of what you are playing on the guitar.

I have also worked with so many great musicians and performed in well-known venues such as Jazz Cafe and 100 Club in London as well as recording for tv channels including BBC.

I have been playing guitar since I was 12 years old. I started with classical guitar in Italy and then when I moved to the UK i picked up electric guitar.

I am a professional operatic tenor and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and continue to perform regularly throughout the country and internationally. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.

Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.
