Learn the guitar in a relaxed and fun environment! I aim to make every lesson an adventure, with the focus being on enjoyment and exploration, rather than urgency. Music is about personal expression and connection, and that is exactly what these lessons will be about. If you want to practice English, I am happy to run classes in my native language, but can also teach in German if preferred. One of the best parts of music is learning to write your own! I can work with you to write and compose a song of your own. There's nothing quite like creating your own songs, and I can guide you along this journey, give you the tools to get started, or help you fine-tune one already in the works.

I am a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music has been featured in publications such as The Huffington Post, BBC and WRAL. I have written and co-written songs that have accumulated tens of millions of streams. I am represented by Kobalt/AWAL (Lauv, Bruno Major, Tom Misch), Maximal Music Sync (Candi Staton, North Star Media), Music Table South Korea, and Sixtyfour Music London and have co-written with Richard Walters (Declan J Donovan, 3lau, Alison Moyet, Grey's Anatomy, CSI) and breakout Dutch artist Judy Blank. Alongside releasing my own material, I am also a session pianist, writer and guitar player who has worked for many clients in studios both in Europe and the States, as well as on tours worldwide including major festival slots and tours in the UK, Europe and the States. ---------- I primarily am interested in teaching people to develop their own sense of artistic identity, and am keen to mentor pupils who are already making headway in their own progress as a musician or in the music industry. I am able to offer key insights into the industry that many other teachers aren't able to, and I am passionate about people who are passionate about music. I consider my experience incredibly valuable to those serious about making headway in the industry and see my classes to be more of a personal and bespoke teaching service than traditional piano/guitar lessons, and have a slightly higher price point accordingly. I have also achieved Grade 8 (ABRSM) in piano. I am moving back to Vienna in April, and will be taking on students from mid-April onwards. ---------- I have been tutoring for the past 6 years, and have had pupils of all skill levels and ages. I have taken pupils through traditional grading in the UK (both ABRSM and Rockschool) and also taught people who are only interested in learning an instrument vocationally. Over these years I have helped pupils develop proficiency and passion in piano, guitar, songwriting, production, as well as offering advice on booking tours, forming bands, and helping develop a sense of musical identity. ---------- My approach to each client is unique, but I primarily focus on encouraging artistic expression and open communication in my sessions. I value the ability to give others the opportunity to create, and I like to treat my lessons as a safe space for ideas, for singing, for performing, and for chatting about all things musical. Eyal has taught hundreds of students over the past 15 years, both guitar and piano next to music theory and composition. Besides his formal music education (a bachelor's in composition, a teaching degree from the music academy in Jerusalem, and a master's in composition from Codarts, Rotterdam), Eyal has acquired experience in a wide range of various musical styles, including Rock, Blues, Jazz, classical music, electronic music, and contemporary music, on which he bases his rich approach which can be adjusted to every student separately. Solos, chords, improvisations, heavy distortion or acoustic guitar, playing at a party or jumping on stages, reading notes, or playing by ear. Maybe you know exactly what you want, and maybe you are not sure. In Eyal's view, the job of the teacher is to help you find that out, and guide you through your process.
