Chess is a fun game that starts with the basic rules and moves through the 3 parts of the game: the opening, the middlegame, and the endgame. The focus at first is to teach you how the pieces move, what the goal of the opening is, and how the pieces interact. You will also learn the vocabulary related to chess and chess notation. Tactics are then explored to take advantage of hanging pieces, lack of king safety, space, and tempo. From here depending on what your personal goals are we will adapt the classes to cover what will help you progress. I can also give group classes, contact me if you have a group, we can discuss how to best organise those classes and pricing.

The course aims to • contribute to the development of continuous research and development awareness, based on the concepts of knowledge-oriented decision-making in career planning processes, increasing competitiveness, minimizing information asymmetry and missed opportunity cost, • contribute to students' internalization of why a career is a process that should be planned, being aware of basic micro and macroeconomic conditions, • introduce the strategic analysis methods that students can use in transforming their career planning processes into critical thinking, research, and application processes, and making them apply with exemplary studies, • contribute to the development of market-oriented and proactive career planning awareness in students, • ensure that students develop an interdisciplinary (marketing communication, organizational behavior, and strategic management) perspective on career planning, • scientifically explain the importance of strong social capital (all kinds of contributions arising from the effective use of social networks) with social networking methodologies and to explain practically how social capital can be used systematically and effectively in career planning processes.

Hello! I am an officially rated chess expert with an international FIDE Elo of 2001. Along with my chess background, I hold a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Athens (EKPA), specializing in Pedagogy and Psychology. My competitive career features high-level achievements, including a notable official tournament victory against Grandmaster Dimitris Alexakis and a 3-0 winning record against Grandmaster Felix Izeta Flores in online blitz matches. Reaching this standard requires rigorous analytical discipline and tactical focus—skills I transfer directly to my students to improve their calculation and mental resilience. I offer private chess lessons tailored specifically for children and beginners who want to learn the game or elevate their tactical thinking. My lessons comprehensively cover openings, endgames, and core tactical concepts, placing a heavy focus not just on raw calculation but on deep positional strategy. Using my academic background in Psychology, I focus on building a fun, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Please note that I am also a certified Classical Guitar teacher and an active music composer.
