I am a vastly experienced violinist and composer with a Masters Degree from the prestigious Lucerne Hochschule - Musik in Switzerland and Postgraduate Degree from Trinity Laban in London. I'm a very dedicated teacher, who loves to work with students from all age groups and levels of experience - one of the joys of teaching for me has been to help others find their own potential through consistent work. I structure the class around three different aspects: * addressing technical issues - intonation, bow technique and sound quality, posture * music making - learning about the style of each composer/of each piece, developing repertoire * interpretation - understanding harmony, finding an emotional connection with each of the pieces As part of the weekly-lessons, I provide you with exercises and tools to be able to follow-up on the above. We will work together towards reaching your goals and potential, whilst maintaining a balance between the joy of music-making and achieving a high quality.

My main goals as a teacher are to help my students improve their technical skill, mature their musical ideas and learn effective practice methods. The outline of my typical lesson consists of scales, a study and a piece. This creates a solid technical foundation while also expanding the students repertoire. Depending on the student’s goals, I can also incorporate aural/ sight reading practice into the lesson to move onto the ABRSM or Trinity syllabus to prepare for graded exams.

I'm an experienced teacher, with students of different levels/ages. I enjoy the diversity of students and understanding of their different ways of learning and goals and for me, this is the best part of the job - to know an treat each student as a unique person that they are. You'll be encouraged to make music from the very first day. Together with some necessary music theory, always applied to the instrument, you'll learn pieces of gradual difficulty. We make use of progressive tuition methods and you'll learn a solid technique by playing scales, bowing and fingering exercises and easy tunes to begin with. Repertoire includes etudes, playful and challenging concert pieces and from the very beginning duos to play with the teacher.

I am a professional violinist and chamber musician with a Konzertexamen in Violin Performance and Chamber Music from the University of Trossingen (Germany). I also hold a Master’s degree in Chamber Music from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and am currently studying Viola at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). Alongside my academic training, I am active as an orchestral musician and regularly perform with the ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien. My performing experience helps me guide students not only technically, but also musically and artistically. With my international performing and academic experience, I aim to help students build strong technical foundations, develop musical expression, and gain confidence in performance. Lessons can also focus on exam preparation, audition repertoire, chamber music coaching, and concert programs.
