I am a trained classical singer from Berlin, but I would like to install myself in Athens. In class, we will build your vocal technique with which you can sing about anything you'd like. As a yoga teacher, I focus on a holistic approach to singing using also yogic tools to improve technique and performance. In the second half of class, we will build a repertoire that you'd like to sing and implement the technique into it. Besides singing I play the violin and piano. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level.
