For me, learning the violin is not only about technique, but also about expression and finding your own voice through music. Every student has a different personality, sensitivity, and way of learning, so I adapt each lesson to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Shalan is a Syrian violinist and composer. Although he was educated as a classical violinist, he has performed in several orchestras and ensembles of Arabic music, with some of the most outstanding Arab singers such as Fairouz, Marcel Khalifa, Rima Khsaish and others. The academy offers more than 50 courses of traditional music and dance from around the world. From the oud to the kora through the gypsy guitar, the tango violin or the Brazilian drums, all classes are given by professional musicians and dancers in different locations in Brussels.
