Great to meet you all! My name is Tomas and I'm a passionate violin teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I have a strong academic background in music and education. Here are some of the degrees I have obtained: - Master Degree in Music Research from the Valencian International University - Major in Violin Performance from the Conservatory of the Liceu Theater in Barcelona - Teaching degree from the Barcelona Music School - Professional degree from the Music School of Buenos Aires - Specialist in Psychomotricity from University Miguel Cervantes -Specialist in Early Cognitive Development from University Miguel Cervantes Apart from teaching, I also run the world's largest Spanish-language violin blog called MyViolinBlog where I share my teaching and playing experiences. I'm also privileged to work as a conductor for the AMA Orchestra in Barcelona, where my students and I focus on musical group experience and technique. I have teaching experience in different schools across Argentina, Spain, Poland, and Romania, I've developed a unique teaching approach that tailors each lesson to the student's goals, keeping them motivated and on track. I can also assist with preparation for school admissions exams such as ABRSM, Trinity College, and more. As the head teacher at Esclat Barcelona Music School and Viaró Global School, I'm currently conducting research in the biomechanics of violin playing, and I'm set to publish four books on this subject this year! Each class with me is customized to meet the student's needs, covering musical, theoretical, and postural concepts to ensure optimal comfort while playing. I love to explain complex concepts in simple terms and inspire my students to continue learning and exploring their musical abilities. Since the beginning of my artistic violin studies at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Würzburg, Germany, I discovered teaching as my passion and worked as a violin teacher teaching children, teenagers and adults of all levels, both beginners and advanced. Violin classes and masterclasses with various teachers and professors have given me a lot of experience in terms of different techniques and ways of working. The most important thing for me is to convey the joy of making music through violin performance, to encourage my students to overcome their limitations, as well as to teach them a technique that is as natural as possible. Step by step you will learn to listen finely and attentively, perceive your body awareness, develop a beautiful sound, and practice independently. Violinist with the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Prague Philharmonic, I am a young musician with a master's degree from the Royal College of Music in London. Whether you start playing from scratch, or if you are thinking of doing competitions or admission tests, I will help you achieve your goals. I have been giving private lessons to all kinds of ages and levels for more than three years, combining it with my own career as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician. My goal is to pass on all the information my teachers have given me and boost your skills! WHAT? The classes will be between 45 and 60 minutes depending on your age, level and availability. We will focus on understanding the technique behind the instrument and from there exploiting its artistic potential to the maximum, always from a didactic point of view, enjoying and free of frustrations. My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

Hello, I am a violin teacher and violinist. Having taught the violin for 20 years and knowing in depth different instrumental techniques and different teaching methods, I can adapt my teaching to the needs, age and character of each student. In addition, my educational background combined with the unique experience and knowledge given to me by my relatively recent motherhood and my love for children and other human beings, has led me to pursue positive teaching with empathy towards the student who aims to make him happy, to love music and to acquire a solid basis for his overall development! I am also able to teach with the Suzuki method. I teach children from the age of 3 and even adults. I organize concerts for my students at least twice a year. I offer individual violin lessons for beginners, advanced players and music students. My particular focus is on Baroque music and historically informed performance practice. For the past three years, I have been intensively studying the Baroque violin and the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. In my teaching, I convey not only technical fundamentals but also stylistic understanding, phrasing, articulation, and the characteristic sound of Baroque music. In addition, I naturally also teach the classical violin repertoire. Lessons cover playing technique, bowing, intonation, vibrato, scales, musical expression, and efficient practice. I'm happy to support you with entrance exams, competitions, orchestra auditions, or when learning new pieces. Each lesson is individually tailored to your goals and skill level.
