Singing and Vocal Coaching - Classical/Opera/Musical TheatreTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Singing and Vocal Coaching - Classical/Opera/Musical TheatreTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach various styles and specialise in Classical, Operatic and Musical Theatre. I also work with singers who are in need of vocal rehabilitation after injury or other medical reasons. Singing is an amazing skill to have, and it enriches one's life in so many ways. So if you're a beginner, you'll find how instantly rewarding it is when you see how quickly you develop and improve your ability to sing. If you're an advanced singer or an industry professional, sometimes we can get lost with our technique and confidence. With the right guidance, it's amazing how quickly these issues can be resolved, and how a voice can be unlocked from certain constraints. ***About me*** I am a professional operatic tenor and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and continue to perform regularly throughout the country and internationally. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality. I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation. Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.

Musical Theatre/Pop - Acting Through Song Lessons with a professional performer.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am super passionate about teaching others and getting the absolute best out of them. I truly believe encouragement and confidence is the key to success! I have taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance for over 15 years and specialise in acting through song. I love bringing my acting training in to songs and really thinking about the words we are singing and what we are trying to achieve through this, what is the purpose of the song etc - this is so important and can be transformational! I can also help with technique, warm ups and cool downs, vocal health and audition prep in either Pop or Musical Theatre. Also because I am still currently working in the industry I have first hand knowledge in what is happening at the moment and how things work. Whether you are a beginner and just want to try it out for fun or if you are looking for help with drama school auditions/ professional auditions then I can tailor the lesson to suit you :) Zoom classes or happy to teach at students house if based around the Manchester or Preston area.

Singing and songwriting lessons. Helping to build confidence and find your own unique voice.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, I’m Laura, and I absolutely love teaching singing. There’s something very special about helping students discover and develop their voice, whether they’re singing for the first time or working towards refining their technique. Watching someone grow in confidence and truly enjoy their singing is what makes teaching so rewarding. I have a Master’s degree in Songwriting from Bath Spa University and vocal training with BAST, giving me a strong foundation in both performance and technique. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at festivals such as Shambala, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, and Cheltenham Jazz Festival, as well as supporting big names from the underground music scene across the UK. Through these experiences, I’ve seen first-hand how powerful singing can be, not just as a skill but as a way of expressing something deep and personal. My goal is to help students connect with their voice in a way that feels natural, expressive, and fulfilling. As a qualified and experienced yoga facilitator, I may incorporate breathing exercises and yoga techniques into sessions where needed. These can be particularly helpful in releasing tension, improving mindset, and opening up the voice, allowing students to sing with greater ease and confidence. How I Teach I tailor every lesson to suit the individual. Whether you want to focus solely on singing, songwriting, or a mix of both, we’ll create a session that works for you. My approach is supportive and relaxed, helping students of all levels build confidence and skill in a way that feels enjoyable. • Singing lessons focus on technique, tone, performance, and breathing exercises to help reduce tension and improve vocal control. • Songwriting sessions guide you through developing ideas, refining lyrics, and bringing songs to life. • Basic guitar tuition is also available for those who want to accompany themselves while singing or songwriting.

Singing for beginners: Come and learn how to sing in a relaxed, fun, and vibrant setting one on one!Translate this text using Google Translate.

About me: I am a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a Master's in Musical Theatre Performance. I teach drama, acting, and singing at two different arts academies in Glasgow. I have several years of professional performance-based experience which includes Radio City Music Hall, singing LIVE on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and multiple professional concerts/cabarets. Student experience: Music and singing should be for everyone to enjoy. Together we can focus on technique, repertoire, or simply how to sing healthily for fun. My classroom is a safe space to experiment and grow your love of singing. First lesson: In our first lesson we'll focus on some easy vocal warm-ups/exercises so I can assess your skill level. We'll chat about what you want to work on together. We'll talk about what kind of music you'd like to learn and discuss resources for sheet music and tracks. Moving forward: Acting and characterization are key components in learning to sing, even if just for fun! Enjoying your music choices and identifying why they speak to you will help in growing your vocal range. Moving forward together we'll focus on your skill level and reaching each vocal goal you have.

Classical singing: train your voice and find freedom in performanceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Do you want to learn how to use your voice to express emotions, embody characters, and communicate stories? Singing lessons are fun, rewarding, and scientifically proven to release endorphins! I will guide you through breathwork, vocal technique, using your whole body to sing, choosing repertoire, and tailoring performances to your strengths. I am an experienced singer that couples teaching with freelance performance at Opéra de Dijon and Opéra du Capitol, Toulouse. As well as focusing on building strong and healthy technique that will enable you to sing for years to come, I offer all-around performance coaching to build you as a classical singer. This involves incorporating yoga techniques and body exercises that support the voice to achieve its effects, and offering dramatic coaching on repertoire in order to transform your vocal talent into authentic stage presence and in-depth characterisation. This can involve dealing with performance anxiety, straight fright, and physically preparing your whole body to sing. Whether you are getting ready to sing in choir at church, in a school solo, or just in your kitchen, we can work together to make singing fun and free, so that you can tackle the repertoire that makes your heart sing. I specialise in training voices from 16+ and especially university-level singers ready to make the first steps into the profession, however anyone with a desire to sing is welcome for a lesson, regardless of experience.
