I offer lessons to all ages and abilities, from complete beginners to those more advanced. Typical lessons last from 30 minutes to an hour. All of my lessons are tailored to meet the exact needs and preferences of my students, whether that's working towards their next graded exam, playing just for fun, and anything in between. I hold a first class honours degree in Classical Flute from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I studied with Ian Clarke and Philippa Davies, and won the Needlemaker's Woodwind Prize. After graduating in 2022, I was invited to become a Guildhall School Junior Fellow, specialising in Flute and Composition. As a freelance flautist, I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Concert Hall and the Southbank Centre. My performance experience encompasses a diverse range of settings, from live radio broadcasts to collaborations with dance and art installations, reflecting my versatility as a musician, and openness to help my students pursue their own personal journey, both within music and as an individual in general. In addition to my passion for the flute, I am also an accomplished composer with a portfolio of commissioned works premiering at renowned venues and exhibitions worldwide. Notable highlights include composing for Wessel Flutes, Berlin Fashion Week, Nxt Museum (Amsterdam), and Adidas Y-3. My work as a composer heavily influences my approach to teaching. Beyond emphasising technical proficiency and a solid grasp of music theory, I am dedicated to nurturing creativity in all of my students.

My music class varies in instrument, genre/style of music and level of musicality and is dependent on the individual who would like lessons. I teach face-to-face and online lessons. I tailor music flute around the student and their needs as I find a student-centric method always cultivates an enriching musical experience for the student and myself. I recognise that each student has a unique learning style; some students thrive with a structured approach, while others may prefer a more creative and exploratory method. By adapting my teaching techniques, and tailoring resources specific to the individual, I ensure you will feel completely comfortable and thoroughly enjoy your flute lessons. I create lesson plans and realistic goals that encourage students to reach their full potential. I keep detailed records of the student's progress, including milestones achieved, areas for improvement, and practice strategies. I believe it is vital to regularly share this information with the student and their parents in order to reinforce their growth and motivate them to continue their progress on flute. I am offering to teach through either Skype or Zoom bespoke instrumental tuition from beginner to diploma standard. My aim is to drive progress by embracing music selected by the students which then motivates them and turbo-boosts their learning. I am quite happy to enter students for exams if they so wish. My master's degree specialises in music performance and I find my tuition develops confidence, lowers their anxiety and develops a passion for music.

I propose saxophone lessons for all ages, all levels, and in all styles. I have been running private lessons for 25 years, as well as giving workshops and master classes in colleges and universities. During a lesson I encourage the student to work on: posture, breathing and the position of the mouth (embouchure), helping the projection of sound; the development of the tone; i teach the student how to phrase and play a beautiful melody; techniques of improvisation; understanding harmony; having confidence in his/her playing skills; techniques of listening and interacting with the rhythm section; learning new songs and experiencing different styles of music; Introductions to key saxophonists. Xiao and Dizi Lessons: Breath, Tone, Ornamentation, and Chinese Bamboo Flute Repertoire I teach xiao and dizi with a focus on breath, tone, phrasing, ornamentation, and musical expression. The xiao and dizi are two important Chinese bamboo flutes, each with its own sound world. The dizi has a clear and bright tone, often used in traditional music, theater, folk melodies, and contemporary screen music. The xiao has a deeper and more intimate sound, well suited to slow melodies, lyrical phrasing, and meditative repertoire. My lessons are adapted to each student's background and goals. You are welcome whether you are a complete beginner, a musician from another tradition, or someone who discovered these instruments through Chinese drama, traditional music, or East Asian culture. I am a professional flutist with over 5 years of experience in teaching. I have worked with people aged 5 to 75 and taught in five different languages: English, German, Ukrainian, Polish, and French. I hold a pedagogical qualification from the Academy of Music in Krakow, where I obtained a Master's degree with distinction in flute performance. Recently, I graduated from the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, where I earned a specialized Master's degree in flute and piccolo. With my help, my students have become first prize winners in competitions like the renowned "Jugend musiziert" in Germany. They have also prepared for playing in youth orchestras such as Das Bayerische Landesjugendorchester or worked on repertoire for different kinds of concerts. As a teacher, I am very flexible and always strive to adapt to the needs of my students. I am passionate about the flute and music in general, and I greatly enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.
