Hello everyone, I'm Eli and I love languages. I studied legal practice at Thomas More University College. There, I mproved my English and French skills For me, the most important thing is to build mutual trust and understanding, with student and teacher at roughly the same level, not too much of a difference. We listen to each other and establish a level of English we can be proud of. I enjoy doing this and I get personal satisfaction from it, but I want the student to experience it too. We progress together, step by step, little by little.

As someone with degrees in both philosophy and psychology my background allows me to draw on principles from the science of learning to help students make meaningful progress without wasted effort. In my past experience as a tutor and special educator, I have learned to create lessons that are efficient, focused, and tailored to each learner’s goals. I study other languages myself, so I understand firsthand the challenges that come with language learning. I use that experience to offer practical strategies that help students overcome common obstacles and stay motivated. Whether you're looking to build confidence in conversation, break out of a vocabulary-learning rut, improve your writing, or sharpen your understanding of grammar, I can help guide your progress with clarity and purpose. (Bonus: It so happens that I am originally from New York City, so if you're looking to learn with someone who has a clear and recognizably American accent, you’re in the right place).

I offer private online English lessons, tailored to children, teenagers and adults, regardless of their level. Whether you want to improve your English at school, regain confidence in speaking, consolidate your basics or learn to communicate more naturally, the courses are built according to your needs and objectives. We can work together on: Grammar and conjugation Vocabulary and pronunciation Oral and written comprehension Oral and written expression Homework help, course review, and exam preparation English conversation for travel, study, or work With over six years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels, I favor a personalized, progressive, and interactive approach. For children and teenagers, I offer age-appropriate activities, practical exercises, and targeted support to address their specific challenges. For adults, lessons can focus on conversation, building confidence in speaking, or achieving professional and personal goals. Each session is an opportunity to practice, ask questions and progress at your own pace, in a supportive atmosphere where you can learn without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to help you better understand English, express yourself more fluently, and gradually gain independence. Feel free to contact me to discuss your goals and needs. We can then work together to define a training method tailored to your level.
