painting your muse in the nude - paint your lover nakedTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Undergo with your love, muse, partner, or all of these at once, a romantic course of painting a nude. One of you will give up their clothes for a morning, afternoon or evening, whilst the other paints them in the style of a famous nude portrait of their choice, (like Venus of Urbino - 1585 by Titian). Hosted by Artists and art historians Tonny and Janne Igbuwe. They will take you on a sensory journey through history, intimacy and artistry. You'll be invited into the Artist's studio (decorated like the chosen painting to the best of our ability) where you'll be received with a drink and a small appetizer. During the workshop, you will not only learn about painting techniques and portraiture, but we'll also explain the history behind the painting you'll be recreating. A spectacularly romantic experience to never forget. Location: Jan Zijvertstraat, Geuzenveld, Amsterdam. The workshop lasts for about 2 hours. paint your muse naked (For English above) Take a romantic nude painting course with your love, muse, partner or all of these at once. Art History: Learn to look at, understand, and analyze art.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Do you struggle to identify styles, artists, and works? Do you feel overwhelmed by the number of dates, movements, and characteristics to memorize? I will help you study Art History in a clear, visual, and understandable way, placing the works within their historical, cultural, and social context. I offer private Art History lessons for high school and university students, as well as support for students who need to reinforce knowledge related to art, culture and the Humanities. My goal is not for you to memorize a list of styles and characteristics, but rather to learn to observe a work of art, identify its main elements, analyze it, and relate it to its era and context. In this way, the study of art becomes meaningful, and it becomes much easier to remember and understand the material. How can I help you? Art History for High School. Support in university subjects related to Art History and Humanities. Exam preparation and subject recovery. Study and understanding of the main artistic styles and movements. Architecture, sculpture and painting. Analysis and commentary on works of art. Identification of characteristics, authors, periods and styles. Preparation of comments and image analysis. Historical, cultural and social contextualization of the works. Organization of extensive syllabi and study techniques. Preparation of academic papers and presentations. I hold a degree in Humanities, with a broad and multidisciplinary background in History, Philosophy, Art, Culture, and Thought. I also have a teaching degree and teaching experience, which allows me to adapt both the content and the way I explain it to the level and needs of each student. My background in the humanities allows me to approach art not as an isolated succession of works and styles, but as an expression of each society and each era. We will understand what is represented, how it is represented, and, above all, why it is done in that way.

Art Portfolio & Creative Mentoring — Art School, MFA, Residencies & Professional PracticeTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Are you developing an art portfolio, preparing an application, or trying to understand where to take your artistic practice next? I am a professional visual artist with more than 30 years of international experience in exhibitions, residencies, research and teaching. I offer individual mentoring for students, emerging artists and established practitioners who want to develop a stronger, more coherent and personal body of work. Sessions can focus on portfolio development, selecting and editing work, developing concepts, identifying recurring interests, strengthening your artistic voice, researching references, writing about your work and preparing applications for art schools, BA/BFA and MFA programmes, residencies, grants, exhibitions and other professional opportunities. We can also work together if you feel stuck, disconnected from your practice or unsure how to move from isolated works or ideas toward a meaningful body of work. My approach combines close discussion of your work with contemporary art, art history, critical references and practical strategies. I do not impose a particular style or aesthetic. The aim is to help you understand what is already distinctive in your work and develop it with greater clarity, depth and confidence. Mentoring is available in English or Portuguese and is adapted to your individual goals and stage of development.

Gemma was a wonderful teacher. Her and I walked around Florence while she was simultaneously teaching me Italian. Her easy going and positive attitude made learning fun while also being very substantial. Gemma is super patient, and after the second day I could construct longer, more complicated sentences. I had mentioned some struggles I have had within schooling where I struggled with pronouns and prepositions, and by the first day I could do it easy no problem due to her explanations being very good. Overall I Gemma is a very good tutor and I highly recommend her.

A competent and personable teacher. Her lectures are professional, comprehensive and well delivered. She is an engaging tutor with an extensive knowledge of the field and a great ability to answer questions and personalize the material to my needs. Recommended!
