These lessons provide a structured yet expressive path through traditional and contemporary art practices, tailored to each student’s pace and interests. ✏️ Drawing Modules Basic Techniques Learn line construction, chiaroscuro, proportion, and composition on a flat surface. Still Life Drawing Apply shadow theory and perspective while working with graphite, charcoal, sanguine, pen, and pastel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎨 Painting Modules Color Theory & Materials Explore acrylics, tempera, watercolor, and pastel to understand color relationships and material behavior. Light & Texture Study how light interacts with surfaces such as glass, wood, metal, and fabric. Traditional Techniques Discover the history and use of tempera, acrylics, oil, and watercolor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎭 Clay Modelling (Masks, Bas‐relief, Beginner‐friendly) This module introduces students to clay modelling through simple, accessible projects suitable for beginners. They learn how to shape clay to create: Masks — expressive or symbolic faces inspired by imagination, culture, or personal identity. Bas‐relief — low‐relief sculptural surfaces where forms emerge gently from a flat background. The focus is on understanding basic sculpting techniques, working with terracotta, and developing manual dexterity while exploring creative expression. “Bas‐relief” (in italiano bassorilievo) refers to a sculptural technique where the shapes are carved or modelled so they slightly protrude from a flat surface — perfect for beginners because it teaches volume, depth, and light without requiring full 3D sculpting. “Masks” are ideal introductory projects because they combine anatomy, symbolism, and creativity, allowing students to explore identity and expression through clay. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔍 Personal Research & Artistic Development Students are guided to explore one or more techniques in depth, developing their own visual language and artistic voice through practice, observation, and experimentation. 🌍 Languages Available: Italian English French Spanish Feel free to express yourself in the language you’re most comfortable with. 👥 Age Groups From infants to seniors — lessons are adapted to each developmental stage and artistic goal. 📍 Locations At the student’s home (Torino/ Menton area) Online via webcam ⏱️ Duration Options 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 12 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the halos. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

INTRODUCTION (scroll down for the course description — see below) I'm a young professional in the film industry and have worked with partners such as Vice, Sony, Unicef and WWF, as well as many musicians, architects, non-profit organizations and independent creators. My experience spans director, editor, DOP, assistant editor, focus puller, author, electrician and production assistant. I studied Cinema at LUCA School of Arts Brussels and Supermedia at UMPRUM in Prague. My strength lies mainly in combining music and cinematography: experimental video art, arthouse films, music videos, and dance and music films. I also completed training in team coordination, so I can edit efficiently and stay organised. I work both for large companies and the music industry, as well as on small, independent project, depending on whether the music speaks to me. I'll teach you how to edit videos and films, for personal or commercial use. My software of choice is the full Adobe suite; for sound I use Ableton, and to a lesser extent Pro Tools. I've completed several artistic residencies as part of my own practice and describe myself as a multidisciplinary artist. My work has appeared in several international magazines with around 700,000 monthly readers, and has received international attention. The Visible World is a structured course in drawing, painting and visual perception. Through practical studio exercises and the study of great works of art, you will develop a deeper understanding of form, proportion, light, colour, composition, visual weight and space. The course progresses from fundamental observation to more complex artistic decisions, helping you develop both technical skill and visual judgement. Rather than simply learning how to copy what you see, you will learn how to see, understand and transform the visible world into an image. No previous experience is required.
