In my typical communication and writing class, I focus on engaging students through a hands-on, interactive approach. I believe in fostering an environment where students feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas. My classes often begin with a brief introduction to the day’s topic, whether it’s vocabulary building, sentence structure, or crafting compelling narratives. I encourage participation by incorporating group discussions, writing exercises, and real-life examples to make the content relatable. During the lessons, I emphasize clarity, coherence, and creativity in writing. I guide students on how to effectively organize their thoughts and use precise vocabulary to convey their messages. We analyze various writing styles, dissecting passages to understand tone, style, and purpose. Feedback is a crucial part of the process, so I regularly provide constructive criticism, helping students identify areas for improvement while celebrating their strengths. I also prioritize practical application, encouraging students to write short pieces during class, which we review together. This allows them to immediately apply what they’ve learned and improve through practice. By the end of the class, my goal is for students to leave feeling more confident in their communication skills and inspired to continue refining their writing abilities.

As a writer, you will marry your creative mind with your artistic foresight, creating dynamic pieces of multimedia that ask questions, compel conversation and, most importantly, tell stories. In this class you will gain the key skills required to write a story from start to finish. You will then learn how to develop an idea into a play script for theatre - enquiring into genres of poetry, scriptwriting, and comedy in order to bring your creative endeavours into practical, tangible pieces of art. This class aims to offer you the confidence to use your voice to entertain, engage and provoke. Using storytelling methodologies and a holistic pedagogy, you will be guided through the history of theatre, the birth of voice in entertainment and its ever changing status within the creative arts. You will taught by a graduate of both the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with a breadth of experience in Writing, Acting and Directing. The craft you learn will be based on the syllabus and Methodologies that i found to be most pertinent professionally and will give you an insight into how I work presently on scriptwriting projects as to further your own understanding of the industry.

In the class, you will learn video editing, audio editing, color grading, VFX basics, post-production knowledge. I will judge you on your work and assign some homework so that you can improve. You will learn Systematic Reasoning & Logical Thinking which is a requirement for entering Computer Science program in many universities. The book “Delftse Foundations of Computation” especially its second chapter will be the main source of our lesson, but other more in-depth books will be also covered if you want to improve even further on logical thinking.
