Hello there, I am a professional composer living in Berlin. I hold a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Composition from the conservatory of Utrecht in the Netherlands. I write for orchestras, ensembles and theater and I have had commissions from the Athens State Orchestra, the International Ensemble Modern Academy and the Gaudeamus Festival among others. Since 10 years I have been teaching students of any age (kids, adults) and level the following Subjects: -Composition / Songwriting -Music Theory -Advanced Rhythm -Music Production / Music Software (Sibelius, Logic) I am open to any combination of the above subjects :-) I always try to adapt to each student, his/her level and most importantly his/her needs. We can take the long road of music theory or focus on the project you are working on now, in a way that can help you now. I can teach in English and German and the lesson can be at my place, your place, or via webcam.

Do you want to learn to write, record or produce your own music? Or are you interested in sound design? Then I can help you further! Music production and recording technology may seem complicated at first glance, but in our 1-on-1 private lessons we can discuss the creative and technical tools you need to unleash your own creativity. Whether it's songwriting, recording techniques or beat making, we can do it all together. All genres are welcome. During the lessons we can learn to work with different programs, such as Logic, Pro Tools or Ableton. The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. Knowledge of solfège is not required. I studied guitar and music production at the Conservatory in Ghent and have been active as a professional musician for several years. I have 12 years of experience as a private teacher. I’m a Music Producer with experience in sound design and composition for moving image. I have been using Ableton as my main daw for 12 years for electronic music production, ranging from pop and experimental music to studio recording sessions. 
In the last few years, I’ve been focusing on assisting producers and songwriters with developing and improving their live electronic performance workflow. I can also provide consultancy on this topic, whether you’re interested in performing or rearranging your material. This course is recommended for anyone who wants to discover the basics of Ableton Live or learn new music production techniques to extend their practice. The course is flexible and can be tailored to everybody’s needs.
