Pro guitarist, composer/producer for my group Cartoon Theory and in my name, and live session, I offer personalized lessons according to the musical tastes and the level of the student. The long-term goal is for the student to become independent and acquire a good methodology allowing them to achieve their goals. I propose different areas of work such as: - The pure technique of the instrument (back and forth exercises, tapping, sweeping, scales, positioning of the hands on the neck, endurance, etc.) - Practice where one or more pieces will be played, from one lesson to another in the student's desired style, and depending on the level. - improvisation, therefore the acquisition of vocabulary (licks/plans) in order to be able to express oneself on accompaniments in all styles, and in different contexts, and make the link with theory. - recording: depending on your ambitions, I can give advice on how to record yourself at home independently, whether it is practical or material. - mixing in a home studio, to be able to create mixes yourself, understand concepts and processes for mixes in different styles. - Composition: Having composed for different projects, I can teach the different ways of composing although it is relatively personal. - Possibility of intensive COURSES over several days. Music production and recording technology may seem complicated at first glance, but in our 1-on-1 private lessons we can discuss the creative and technical tools you need to unleash your own creativity. Whether it's songwriting, recording techniques or beat making, we can do it all together. All genres are welcome. During the lessons we can learn to work with different programs, such as Logic, Pro Tools or Ableton. The lessons are for students of all ages and levels. Knowledge of solfège is not required. I studied guitar and music production at the Conservatory in Ghent and have been active as a professional musician for several years. I have 12 years of experience as a private teacher. (leisure, professional development) focusing on; basic knowledge of the guitar, basic chords and more advanced chords, scales and modes, theory and practice of improvisation, study of a repertoire, right hand technique (fingers or pick), music theory and rhythm, Logic Pro X, basic sound engineering and music production techniques and songwriting skills. An understanding of what are the goals and interests of student, as well as their skills is the most effective way to pass on knowledge.

I'm a certified sound engineer and I have prepared a course for beginners and early intermediates, who want to dive into the world of music production. I got my bachelor's degree in Music Technology and Acoustics at the Hellenic Mediterranean University. I squeezed out the most useful and meaningful knowledge of a four year curriculum into a 3 month course to help young people save precious time. Instead of roaming through reels and videos online, join my course and earn a solid foundation in recording techniques, editing, mixing, production techniques, MIDI theory, acoustics theory and the basics of mastering. Ableton Live and Logic Pro are two of the most widely used tools for creating music on a computer. I designed these courses to teach you the basics of DAW (Digital Audio Workstation): an overview of the necessary equipment, multitrack recording methods, the use of real and virtual instruments, creating rhythms and beats, adding sound effects, and final mixing. I also offer an introduction to synthesis (i.e., the use of synthesizers) for electronic music composition, as well as an introduction to an AKAI MPC. But first and foremost, how can you have fun while letting your creativity flow, whatever your style of music! I have been using DAW software for over 20 years (Cubase, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Reason, etc.) and adapt my courses according to the needs and levels of my students.
