Hello, My name is Mital and I graduated from University College London (UCL) with a 1st Class Honors degree in Chemistry (BSc). I live in London. I am a hardworking and determined individual, who is always looking for new challenges and new ways to be active. I also enjoy learning and developing my way of thinking and feel academia provides great opportunities to think technically and logically which are skills very hard to come by and master. I am also an Undergraduate Bursary Holder. This was awarded to me by UCL Chemistry department for outstanding achievement in end-of-term examinations based on all areas of chemistry in a class of 120 students including, chemistry, medicinal chemistry and natrual science students. Tutoring Experience From my university days I have been an educational tutor and mentor Responsibilities: Teaching mathematics and science to students ranging from KS2 to A-level. Engaging with pupils in a way which helps them focus more on education, time management and revision techniques. I have taught Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Mathematics, Economics, 11+ maths and non-verbal, 6th Form entrance exams and interview practice and much more. Methods: Using personal experiences to provide a platform for students to work and develop on. Achievements: I have helped many student from many different walks of life achieve the best they can through inspiring confidence within them. Tutoring Approach I have many hours of tutoring experience and I really enjoy it. I get a great buzz out of helping people whether younger or older and helping them to understand and familiarise concepts and theories that may alienate at first. But I also enjoy learning more about people and meeting new people and hearing what they have to say because you never learn enough from talking to people and sharing experiences. I have worked with a range of students from the ages of 5 to 21 and thoroughly enlighten to the idea of helping others if possible and this is why I love to tutor and educate. I believe greatly in what Malcolm X said that 'education is the passport to the future, for the people that prepare for it today' and so it is important from a young age to challenge the mind and allow it to explore new mediums of learning and engaging. This is what I have done most of my life and I can thankfully say it has benefited me a lot. I have always had a great relationship with all my students and have achieved excellent grades with them such as one of my students’ received 100% in their GCSE Science exam last year. I also teach iGCSE Science and Maths. I am also very familiar with the new O-level/IB Linear curriculum which grades students from 1-9 for GCSE and the new A-Level curriculum for science and maths. I also offer group discounts for students. These are available on request. Please see my reviews from former tutees. Thank you.

I would like to continue to develop my teaching skills while sharing knowledge and inspiring students along with creating a challenging and fun learning environment for students. In my previous roles (as a supply teacher and volunteer) I performed the following duties: • Helped groups of primary schools (3-11) in with the work assigned to them by the teacher, ensuring consistency of student’s participation in-class lectures. • Assisting students with study skills and class assignments • Mentored and motivated difficult students, working one-on-one with students who had behavioral problems. • Worked with secondary students in Pakistan, helping them with mathematics, deriving easy ways for them to learn, and grasps knowledge with better understanding. As a volunteer, I helped the class teachers maintaining the records of pupils and carrying out normal administrative tasks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. As a teacher assistant at Kinnaird College, I helped the teacher maintain discipline in the class and helped students to perform different lab tasks, along with the grading of these assignments. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children of all ages and that’s the reason I enjoy working as a supply teacher assistant as I feel that I am gaining a great deal of experience by doing stints at different schools and being party to different ways of teaching, different children, etc. I feel for me it keeps my skills up to date and allows me to think on my feet. I feel that one of my greatest strengths as a teacher assistant is the ability to meet each students’ unique needs by having an in-depth understanding of their abilities and needs. My experiences include tutoring, organizing daily activities, and keeping students organized and controlled. I am comfortable working independently and as part of a team. I strongly prioritize critical thinking and creativity, skills among students.
