99.95 ATAR | USYD Med | 5A* Magdalen College Oxford | 99th Percentile UCAT/BMAT | Interviews Hi! I’m Tristen and I'm currently studying Medicine (Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine) at the University of Sydney as a Dalyell Scholar, and am also a current awardee of the USYD Chancellor Award! I graduated from Magdalen College School (sister school with the University of Oxford) in the UK, achieving 5 A*s (equivalent to 99.95 ATAR) - I am familiar with the VCE, HSC, A Level and IB curriculums in depth. I was also ranked in the 97th percentile in the UCAT ANZ and the 99th percentile in the UCAT UK and BMAT, having received offers to the University of Melbourne, University of Queensland, UNSW, University of Adelaide, King's College London, UCL and Imperial amongst others. I provide support and coaching for those undertaking the UCAT and/or BMAT, as well as all types of medicine or dentistry interviews. I offer tutoring in Chemistry and Biology at a HSC and VCE Level, as well as tutoring in English, Maths and Physics below this level! Lessons will primarily be conducted online through Zoom. Whilst I primarily tutor in Maths and Science, I also offer tutoring in English, Computer Science and Geography. I am also happy to tutor students of all ages, whether it be for public exams, or for selective or scholarship exams, having been a scholarship recipient at Caulfield Grammar School from Year 3, as well as a scholarship recipient at Magdalen College School from Year 8-13. I also offer mentoring and future pathway planning, both locally and for international destinations. I am also almost always available with quick response times and support should you need assistance outside of tutoring hours. I personalise all lessons and sessions to your specific needs, and am dedicated to providing you with the best support, and I offer both individual and group lessons. Please do contact me and ask if you're interested in knowing more!

Trusted teacher: Student at the National School of Bridges and Roads, private teacher for 6 years, I offer to help your child take off in science subjects. I suggest that your child follow a methodology adapted to his profile and his objectives: -If he has difficulties in Maths Physics or Chemistry, the problem most often comes from a lack of understanding of the basics (a few targeted revisions are generally enough to get the boat back on the water). Otherwise there is certainly a lack of methods, attention or time in class or at home to properly assimilate the subtleties, private lessons are then a good way to remedy this. -If he wishes to deepen his knowledge to boost his grades, prepare for Preparatory Classes for the Grandes Ecoles, prepare for a competition or simply to become (the) best, then it is specific knowledge associated with rigorous methodologies that he must acquire. In the first case, it returns more tutoring, my courses are therefore based on the chapters seen in class, the understanding of these (and therefore the prerequisites for them), the verification of the exercises requested by the teacher always with a view to understanding (I generally ask that these exercises be carried out or at least started before my arrival), then the realization of additional exercises that the student will have to finish for the next lesson. In the second case, it is deepening, after having checked that the course is known and understood, I therefore directly teach the in-depth knowledge according to the objective, the working methods necessary for higher education, and additional exercises are to be done with me and for the next lesson. The student will have to show rigor because even if mathematics, physics or chemistry are much less complicated than we are led to believe, it does not fall from the sky! Parents are therefore involved in order to verify that what is requested before or after the session is indeed carried out. I am also available throughout the week by phone if the student has questions about the knowledge covered in previous or future sessions!
