Hello everyone ! My name is Soukaina and I am passionate about the fields of physics and computational materials. I have always been fascinated by how the laws of nature can be mathematically described and used to understand the world around us! Currently a PhD student in computational materials physics, I have two years of experience as a temporary physics professor. In addition, I also teach mathematics to students in the final year of science (bac S). I obtained a master's degree in matter and radiation physics, which offered me a complete education in fundamental and applied physics. Thanks to this extensive training, I have developed a wide range of skills in theoretical and numerical modeling, analytical methods, electron microscopy, spectroscopy and data processing. In summary, I teach all programs in French or English. I also teach physics and chemistry and science subjects in general, for all levels. During our sessions, we will start by discussing your needs and goals. Then we'll work together to address key concepts, clarify challenges, and build your skills. I will make sure to adapt my teaching method to your learning style, using concrete examples, practical exercises and exams similar to what can be posed in class. We will also have the opportunity to discuss and answer your questions throughout the session. My goal is to create a positive, interactive and effective learning environment to help you grow and succeed. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information or to make an appointment. I would be happy to help you!

Hello! I am Dillan and I am 19 years old. I have completed my A-Levels and GCSEs and studied at a top grammar school in the UK, and I am currently a Medical student. I am a keen and enthusiastic tutor with experience. I have a few years of tutoring experience. I have taught many students subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. I have had students initially reach level 5 in specific issues, and through hard work and some guidance, they reached level 9 as their final GCSE grade. My teaching style is interactive whiteboard lessons; I use my iPad to annotate and write notes on the virtual whiteboard. My primary focus is to allow the students to understand the material through annotated diagrams. To ensure engagement throughout the lessons, students will be asked different questions, such as why something behaves this way or why this is the answer. I do not just aim for the students to memorise the material but instead to understand the material at hand. From the very beginning, exam questions will be used. I use exam questions from the beginning to help students understand how the mark scheme is structured. Starting exam questions early allows students to practice and perfect their exam technique for the most excellent chance of success in the actual exams. The subjects I offer are: Chemistry: KS3, GCSE and A-Level Physics: KS3, GCSE Biology: KS3, GCSE and A-Level Maths: KS3, GCSE English: KS3, GCSE Computer Science: KS3, GCSE and A-Level Economics: GCSE Medical School Tutoring: Personal Statement advice, UCAT, BMAT & Medical Interviews Python: Beginner and Intermediate lessons

Homeostasis is one of the topics one should be expecting in examinations like IGCSE, GCSE, WASSCE, GCE, NECO, SAT. Osmoregulation (homeostasis)-in unicellular organism is ensured by the use of contractile vacuole. The main organs involved in homeostasis in multicellular organisms include kidney, liver, skin, ductless glands (hormones) and the brain which has the overall control of the homeostatic process in the body. The regulation of homeostasis depends on three mechanisms: 1. Receptor 2. Control Centre 3. Effector. The entire process continuously works to maintain homeostasis regulation. 1. Receptor: the receptor is the sensing component responsible for monitoring and responding to changes in the external or internal environment. 2. Control Centre: The control centre is also known as the integration centre. It receives and processes information from the receptor. 3. Effector: The effector responds to the commands of the control centre. It could either oppose or enhance the stimulus. Biological systems like those of your body are constantly being pushed away from their balance points. For instance, when you exercise, your muscles increase heat production, nudging your body temperature upward. Similarly, when you drink a glass of fruit juice, your blood glucose goes up. Homeostasis depends on the ability of your body to detect and oppose these changes. Roles of Pancreas and Liver in Homeostasis. During a meal, the pancreas will secrete insulin and suppress glucagon, causing the liver to store glucose as glycogen. Alternatively, when blood sugars are low, the liver can convert glycogen into glucose through a process known as glycogenolysis. The pancreas controls the concentration of glucose in the body by producing the hormones insulin and glucagon which stimulate the liver. Insulin and glucagon are chemical hormones messengers.

Bilingual French / English, Doctor in Physics and Engineer, Graduated from Cambridge and Stanford, I was a university professor, researcher at EPFL and I teach Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Nanotechnology, Mathematics and many other other subjects at all levels (from secondary to Doctorate). I have taught at Stanford, Cambridge, and EPFL among others and have always had very good reviews from students and other teachers. I also conduct official interviews every year for candidates who want to join one of the largest universities in the world. Professional, and respectful of students, I offer courses in French and English of very high quality in all scientific subjects (math, physics, chemistry, biology) until maturity, and in physics, chemistry, engineering, nanotechnology, electricity, fluid mechanics and other more advanced subjects at university. I am patient in my explanations, and my lessons are educational, interactive, fun and enriching. I use a lot of concrete examples to explain difficult scientific concepts which allows my students to better digest the subjects taught, to get up to speed and to progress quickly. I have helped many students quickly become more confident and pass their exams. I also prepare students for entrance exams in England (Oxbridge, etc...) and in American universities (SAT, ACT, GRE, ...). In addition, I give private lessons online (on Zoom) using the latest technologies with interactive whiteboards, and I have very good feedback and students who are very satisfied with their progress. I highly recommend trying my private online lessons. =================================== Bilingual French/English, former professor, I have a PhD in Physics from Cambridge, a MS in Engineering from Stanford, and over 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Fluid, Optics, ...) and Nanotechnology at some of the top universities in the world (incl. Stanford and Cambridge), as well as science and math subjects for GCSE and A-level. I am passionate about tuition, and helping students understand important concepts and methods. I also teach and tutor in more advanced science and math subjects (partial differential equations, transforms, etc...). I have helped many students quickly gain confidence and improve their score in exams. Dr. David will help you develop your skills, build self-confidence, successfully prepare for exams and achieve top grades from GCSE to university graduate level in Physics, Math, Chemistry and Engineering. He will help you understand concepts not only from theory but also from a practical point of view, so that you can grow into an independent learner and thinker. Dr. David is also an interviewer for students applying to one of the top universities in the world, and he can help you successfully prepare for US (SAT, ACT, GRE,) and UK university entrance exams so that you can get into the top school of your choice.
