I’m an experienced guitarist and I can help those of all abilities and ages looking to learn the instrument or develops their skills. I’ve been playing for 16 years and I’m well versed in most genres and styles of music. Open to all stages of learning whether you want to focus on fundamentals and guitar theory or develop your own style and technique. I can support anyone looking to gain knowledge of harmony, chord melody, soloing, popular and unconventional song structure and style. Or if you want to learn other songs and build up your repertoire. My musical background is primarily as a jazz guitarist, specialising in improvisation and composition. This is something I can work on with students once core skills are acquired. I can also help get students get up to speed with their grade exams and offer musical theory support. Aside from my experience as a guitarist, I play in different bands as a Writer and composer. I have experience as a recording artist at Abbey Road studios and I can teach students about song writing and composition. I’m fluent on music softwares such as Logic Pro X and Ableton and offer Music Production and Recording technique classes at my own studio in Clapton East London. I am offering one-to-one clarinet and bass clarinet lessons to students of all ages and abilities. All musical styles are welcome! My approach is to make music enjoyable and adapt to the student's needs. If you would like to go through the grading system, that's no problem. But if you would just like to learn to play so that you can jam with your friends, that's also fine. Lessons will be catered towards your goals and ambitions.

Im a classically trained singer (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London 2005 MMus BMus (Hons). I have extensive performing experience as a soloist and with various ensembles in opera, oratorio, musical theatre, jazz and pop. I’ve sung for numerous celebrities as well as royalty both in the UK and abroad. From 2016-2021 I taught singing in the Royal Palace in Muscat for the Sultan of Oman. I have 20+ years teaching experience covering all age groups but mostly focused on children and young adults. I teach absolute beginners through to professionals. I regularly enter students for ABRSM examinations with a 100% pass rate. I have a holistic approach to teaching and offer a supportive atmosphere for learning and enjoying music making. I have been writing songs now for 30 years, including being asked to write lyrics for local charities and for special occasions. Songwriting theory and musical theory and compositions can often take the fun out of lifting and playing music - whether its a guitar, microphone, drum kit! These 1 hour sessions give the customer an opportunity to explore musical styles, rhythms, while personalising a song for their own use. Every song created will be supplied in an electronic copy, with the lyrics displayed in a certificate explaining the background to the song/ lyrics/ tune etc. Option1 : Tutor and customer discuss the scope of the song - whwether the song is to be personal - about someone, somewhere, a particular event - whether the song is to be uplifting or melancholy, with distortion, or smooth? These personalised songs can be so well received; especially with a copy of a certificate explaining why it was written, when it was written and for whom. Option 2: The Random Song - pick some random words and create a masterpiece; see the story come to life as the song verses merge into a meaningful chorus.... or let the fun begin, and let the children ( small and grown up) have loads of ideas which randomly converge into YOUR song! Can be done in person as part of a 'party' or online over Teams etc. No two sessions are ever the same; and multiple members can dial in if you want them to share in the Songwriting process! Every session comes with an e version of the recorded song, and an electronic copy of the certificate, showing the lyrics and details of the songwriter, date created/recorded.
