Hi! I’m Sheri, a friendly and patient tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence as well as skills. I believe everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace, personality, and goals. Whether someone needs clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, or a calm space to ask questions without feeling judged, I make sure they feel supported from the very first lesson.

My background in Uniformed Protective Services and Criminology has given me strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, which I bring into my tutoring. I’m especially good at breaking down difficult topics into simple, practical ideas that students can understand and remember. I also enjoy working with younger learners, keeping lessons engaging through examples, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities.

This class is for aspiring actors, singers and writers. The focus is to train your body, voices and minds for performance giving you techniques and skills that will build up your confidence and self- esteem.
My teaching methodology is the "art comes from the artist". I teach skills that enables the student to explore, understand and nurture their own ideas to turn it into art.My teaching methods wont only bring out the actor in you, but also the writer, director or designer if that is the path you may want to go down. I am patient and fun and treat my students with respect and integrity. I expect the same from them.
We will be exploring play scripts, film scripts and pieces of music from musical theatre.

I am a trained professional singer with a Bachelors degree in music from the University of Bristol.
As well as singing, I play piano and conduct a professional choir.
I'm based near Blackhorse Road station in Walthamstow and teach in my house.

I teach all ages and all levels for singing and am happy either working towards grades or just singing for fun. I also teach music theory up to grade 5 to provide pupils with a strong foundation for progressing to the higher grades.

I am able to provide socially distant lessons within my own home as well as online.

For me the most important thing about music lessons is that they should be enjoyable, whether or not you are working towards an exam.
