I favour contextual learning: language is learned in context, using real-life situations and conversations. Listening and speaking first: priority is given to listening and speaking before reading and writing. So we're going to have role plays, simulations and real conversations.

During this course I propose to primarily help middle and high school students to clarify their course and if possible deepen it. The lessons will preferably take place in Italian to ensure regular listening to Italian. At the end of the course I will take a few minutes to avoid an integrated dialogue in Italian on a subject that the student can choose (indeed, leisure, the course of his day...).

I suggest you support your child in a comprehensive way, with particular emphasis on mastering the French language: grammar, spelling, written and oral expression. Above all, I teach a work methodology to lead to autonomy and which can be applied to all subjects. I adapt to each personality to try to motivate the student as much as possible to find pleasure in working. I can help your child or teenager with his school homework on a regular basis, but also give lessons from time to time, in all subjects at primary level, and in literary subjects at College. I have a Literary Baccalaureate, a Spanish LLCE License, a MASTER in Letters, Languages, Arts with French as a Foreign Language course in Educational Linguistic Policies and Digital Environment. As a Pedagogical Engineer, I prepare distance or semi-face-to-face online courses (Blended Learning). I worked for several years in the educational service of the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, where I gave lectures for school groups. I also gave home lessons via Acadomia for seven years in Paris (including children of VIPs) and replaced school teachers and teachers of French, English and Spanish. I also worked as a French teacher assistant at the French Institute in Vietnam for six months.

For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. Contrary to popular belief, learning Latin is not like learning the phone book by heart. I offer you Latin lessons that are unlike any other. There are two types of courses. Here is an analogy to illustrate their respective approaches: If you take the train back and forth every day and don't have time to wait long at the platform, imagine that you only have two options: 1) Learn the schedules by heart. 2) Note that the train arrives every ten minutes and that a train arrives for example at 7:00 a.m. In school pedagogy, in study notebooks and in ordinary courses, it is the first approach which is adopted - in the courses that I offer you, it is the second because it is more economical and faster. My offer is aimed at both students and adults who want to learn the Latin language or deepen their knowledge without time-consuming detours through the insanities of school methods which do not produce results. Learning is easy but unlearning what has become a bad habit is extremely difficult. All the more important it is to learn the right reflexes as early as possible. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning in a positive state of mind. I offer individual or group Latin lessons (2 to 5 people). The methods are based on cognitive sciences and in particular historical linguistics. What will not be the subject of the course: learn lists of verbs; learn lists of nouns with their gender; learn words with their translations; memory card game; doing school exercises; follow the program in a notebook; impose French grammar on the Latin language. What matters to me in particular: motivate my student and give him a learning rhythm; encourage creativity; make friends with language; letters and their sounds strengthen your memory by working on the phonological loop; teach construction plans instead of having people learn sentences by heart; explain how the language works to make my student independent as quickly as possible; breaking preconceived ideas such as the gammatical gender would have a link with the biological gender, the accusative would be a direct complement and the dative an indirect complement, the verbs would be irregular, the declension would be random and therefore to be learned with each verb... ; place practice at the center and articulate grammar around practice.
