I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Design Initiation is a class designed for children, adolescents, and seniors alike. Through engaging and unconventional learning methods, apprentices will acquire the foundational knowledge of the design process, which will serve as a cornerstone for their future creative expressions. During this course, we will explore various aspects of design, including 1. Seeking inspiration 2. Identifying starting points in the creative process 3. Utilizing different platforms and tools in design 4. Understanding how selected elements transform into design products 5. Recognizing the significance of graphic design across fields such as fashion, interior architecture, industrial and furniture design, and more. Tailoring the approach to each apprentice’s potential and interests, we will incorporate drawing, illustration, typography, and photography, as well as explore the use of popular social media platforms. Additionally, lessons will cover strategies for standing out among other designers, the creation of mood boards, design best practices, and techniques to make designs appealing and visible to a broad audience. I can also teach via webcam, but I do recommend my in-person classes, seeing as they're more immersive and educational. As a multidisciplinary artist, I believe that strong digital work is rooted in traditional mastery. This course combines the tactile logic of oil painting and watercolors with the power of Photoshop and digital design. We begin with the core fundamentals, anatomy, still life, and composition before transitioning those skills into the digital space. Learn to draw by observing the world around you. In these classes we will explore drawing from life: people, places and everyday scenes. We can work from real objects, photographs, or illustrations. If you're interested in manga, ink drawing, or ukiyo-e (traditional Japanese woodblock prints), we can also explore that style. If you have something you'd like to draw, you can bring it to class. If not, we will use reference materials that I have prepared. No prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome. You can draw on paper with a pencil or marker, or also on a tablet if you prefer to work digitally. The classes are adapted to your level and your interests. I am currently based in Tokyo and offer in-person classes in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Kawasaki, as well as online classes. If you wish, we can also go outside and draw together while observing the city.

Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.
