Want to learn drums, improve your technique, or simply become a more confident and musical drummer? I offer personalised one-to-one drum lessons in my professional recording studio in Stockholm. I’m a professional drummer, music producer and songwriter from the Netherlands, with many years of experience playing, recording and producing music. My lessons are practical, relaxed and tailored to each student’s age, level and musical interests. We can work on everything from basic technique, coordination and timing to grooves, fills, playing along to songs, improvisation and creative drumming. Lessons are available for students from 7 years old, from complete beginners to more experienced drummers who want to take their playing to the next level. One of the unique aspects of my lessons is that we can also record during the session. This allows you to listen back to your playing, understand what you are doing well and identify areas for improvement – just like in a professional studio environment. Lessons are available in English, Swedish or Dutch, and can be either 30 or 60 minutes. My goal is simple: to create a positive and inspiring environment where you can develop your skills, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy playing the drums.

Beginners to advanced students of all ages are welcome to learn from a drummer with 20 years of experience and a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. I am multilingual and have a holistic approach to teaching, carefully creating unique lessons to meet the needs of each individual student. I have experience playing all styles of music and I love to share my knowledge and experience, so the course can take the direction you want. For beginners, I have many lessons to get you playing with proper technique from the start so you avoid injuries and bad habits from posture and grip. For advanced students, I can provide technical challenges and share with you the most modern concepts and techniques used today.
