Understanding and patient Economics tutor I’m a graduate in Accounting and Finance from the University Of Warwick with wide experience tutoring maths, economics and sciences, particularly physics. I have done both the old style exams and the new ones, which puts me in a good position to help all students and apply the best resources to their revision for their specific exam. To me, defeating any tricky exam is a process of a few steps: Know the facts. This is the first and most obvious step in doing well. Factual recall is the basis of getting good marks. This can often be difficult, but breaking it down into smaller chunks, and being "smart" about revision can make a topic list much more approachable! Apply the understanding. This is particularly important in sciences and tricky maths! Practice makes perfect, but it has to be the right type! An understanding of where the marks are allocated can make this much easier. Play the game? Exams to me represent not just a factual recall or knowledge application test, but a strategic challenge where tactics, organisation and creative, targeted revision are rewarded. Strategically approaching exams with an eye to exam technique and ‘playing the mark scheme’ has always helped me get the best results. Coursework can be a great way to make life easier when it comes to exams, if you`ve got it. A good coursework grade can give so much extra breathing room for the actual papers. I have wide experience teaching GCSE maths, science and economics. At A level I can teach maths, economics and physics and beyond this, accounting, finance or economics. I have tutored students for 5 years through the national schools programme and through private/group lessons too. With over 1000 hours of lessons taught, I believe I can make a real difference to any student's learning. Thanks for visiting my profile and reach out if I can be of help!

Economics GCSE & A level tuition (Taught by a past A* student)Translate this text using Google Translate.

I have recently completed my first year at University studying Bsc Mathematics with Accounting and Finance, I am predicted a First. I am looking for students to tutor on a subject I am highly passionate about. I am a sociable character and I strongly believe in a dynamic and personalised approach.I have had previous tutoring for economics (year 13 onwards) and believe this experience has taught me clearly how to provide best to different students needs. I'll mainly be focusing on content, exam knowledge as well as exam skills (I completed Edexcel Economics A, however AQA is similar). I am open to new teaching methods and I will be able to work at flexible hours and have had past tutoring experience. My model essays and own resources will also be available for a more engaging teaching method. Get to know my top tips and advice I wish I knew before which got me from a low B to a A*. My services include a in depth study plan and structured resources for re/learning content, as well as marking essays and giving feedback. I am also able to provide tuition for A-level English literature AQA board B and certain GCSE subjects. I offer in my lessons in person at the students' house, in person at my house and online via zoom/microsoft teams/skype.

Money That Matters: Finance for Young Thinkers (9-13 years, EN/ES/FR)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Money That Matters: Finance for Young Thinkers (9-13 years, EN/ES/FR)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Kids don't need lectures about "good money habits." They need to feel what money does. While adults debate finances at home, kids are already using money, without actually understanding how. In this course, we learn by playing. And by thinking. We'll explore together: ✓ Simulate a real shop: handle actual money, practice spending and saving, discover what it feels like ✓ Create a personal budget: not boring spreadsheets, but visuals, games, and real challenges ✓ Ask the real questions: Need vs. want. Why save? How do people earn? What's debt? ✓ Discover how systems work: Banks, loans, digital money, and financial security ✓ Think like an entrepreneur: What services can I offer? How do I create value? How do I turn an idea into money? Why this is different: Most kids think "money is complicated." This class shows them that money is a tool, not a mystery, not something to fear. And, more importantly: that they can control it. What they take home: A personal budgeting system they actually understand. Answers to questions they've been asking. And the mindset: money is a means, not an end. Format: Online or Barcelona | 60-min sessions | Small group or one-on-one For curious kids who ask questions about money.

Jakub has been diligent in tutoring my daughter IB economics (Higher Level) weekly for the past 2 years. His command of english is perfect. Very knowledgeable and professional, Jakub is a well mannered, patient and accommodating teacher. He trained specifically to teach IB economics which is a real added value, Jakub gave useful tips along the course and was a real support with internal assessments.

Gaelle went above and beyond to help my son build a love of programming by making it fun and integrating me in his learning, making it a bonding experience as well :)

Deanna was prompt and well-prepared. She clearly knows the GCSE syllabus really well, and made a very positive start to tutoring my daughter.
