Private Mathematics Lessons: From Primary School to Master’s LevelTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer private mathematics lessons for all levels, from primary school up to the master’s level. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics from EPFL, specialized in algebra and geometry, and I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant for four years for demanding university courses (advanced analysis, advanced linear algebra, fundamental structures). This double experience, university teaching and personalized support, allows me to adapt my explanations both to a primary school student and to a student preparing for a master’s exam. What I offer: - Strengthening fundamentals and school support (primary, middle school, high school) - Preparation for exams and entrance tests (maturité, baccalauréat, EPFL/ECAL, entrance exams) - University support: analysis, algebra, probability, optimization, proofs, projects - Methodological work: structuring reasoning, problem-solving, conceptual understanding Working method: - Precise initial assessment - Clear, adapted, and progressive explanations - Targeted and personalized exercises to progress quickly - Building confidence, motivation, regular follow-up My lessons can take place online or in person in Lausanne or nearby. My goal is simple: to make mathematics understandable, efficient, and motivating for every student, regardless of their level.

Graduated with a Master's degree from EPFL - Gives Maths lessons for Compulsory School / Federal Maturity / 1st year EPFL, MAN, CMS / BacTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Mathematics from EPFL, where I also worked as a student assistant for 4 years, notably for the CMS (Special Mathematics Course), the MAN (Upgrade), as well as for several first-year Bachelor's courses. I also served as a corrector for multiple exam sessions and wrote a handout for a course for Master's students in Mathematics at EPFL. Through these experiences, I had the opportunity to support many students in successfully completing their first year, often considered one of the most demanding. Today, I offer private math lessons for all levels, from compulsory school to the federal maturity, as well as for Bachelor students needing support in subjects with a strong mathematical component. Passionate about teaching, what I appreciate above all is seeing students' progress, their confidence and their growing understanding. My methodology is based on an intuitive understanding of concepts, through simple and clear examples, as well as structured support in reasoning. I place particular emphasis on solving exercises, because it is through regular practice that we consolidate our knowledge and truly progress in mathematics.

Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.

We found Thomas's information matched the most our needs so we invited him to be my son's tutor in preparation for EPFL examination. My son's feedback that he gave a very clear definition and in details so that he can understand and catch up with the new knowledge quickly. They have had 7 hours working together and will have many more in the next three months. We are very happy and feel lucky to have Thomas teaching my son.

Noreen is very patient, adapts quickly and prepared for a job a professional. She is helping our daughter speak French while having selective mutism stage 1A NV. She understood very quickly and very well how to approach the lessons and we hope she can continue to spend time with my daughter teaching her French but by bit.
