French tutoring for beginner to upper-intermediate students, and English up to GCSE standard
From 19 £ /h
Language learning has never been more important than now, with an increasingly multilingual world in need of multilingual people! Not only is a second language useful in the world of work, but it also serves to bridge the gap between cultures and expand our creativity and cognitive function.
My lessons are fun, engaging and laid-back, with an efficient approach to increasing vocabulary and gaining confidence in speaking. I have experience tutoring beginner to upper-intermediate students in French, and for English, I am able to help with school work up to GCSE level as I achieved an A* at GCSE English.

About Me
Hi there, I'm Jenalla - a Y13 A-Level student looking to tutor French, Music & English to people of all ages and skillsets before and during my gap year in France! I currently hold an offer to study French & Linguistics at the University of Oxford, which I will begin in October 2024 after my year abroad. I have good experience with the language-learning process and am particularly passionate about sharing it! Homework, reading lists and other forms of media and resources are always provided to help keep my students on track to reaching their highest potential, and to maintain a level of interest that will allow them to stay engaged with their subject.
Alongside speaking skills, I can help develop grammar, listening and reading competencies. Moreover, I can help prepare my students for exams such as SATs and GCSEs, with the same revision and practice tips that helped me achieve A* grades! I play piano and sing proficiently, both to Grade 8 and above and would also love to extend my tutoring in these areas. Do reach out if you are interested!

I’d love to offer tutoring for music in both piano and singing to students of all ages and beginner to intermediate skillsets! I am a Grade 8 pianist and Grade 8 standard singer, with good experience in accompanying choirs and soloists, and I have a Grade 5 theory certification. With over three years' experience in tutoring music and other subjects, I can teach a range of styles for both instruments. I include warm-ups, exercises and help develop good technique so that my students can make the most of their practice in between sessions and develop long-term skills in their discipline. I’m currently doing music A Level with A* predictions for my exams this year.
I’ll be going off to Oxford after my gap year spent in France, so will be able to teach piano until late August, but should be able to continue singing throughout the 2023-24 academic year.
