My method is based on a freer and less academic approach than that of music theory for those who wish to develop their musical ear without prior classical knowledge (Although we will do a little bit of it anyway but in a simplified way). You will discover that it is not necessarily necessary or obligatory to know how to read a score to play music. A lot of professional musicians (Paul McCartney for example) do not know how to read notes! I will help you get familiar with harmony and rhythm. We will learn how to compose simple and then more complex melodies and chords in all their various forms with the right hand. And we will also see how to accompany with the left hand. We will do all this from a piece of your choice (whether classical or modern that we will play in a simple way and then enrich it step by step!

Fully online piano assessment and focused follow-up lessons in English for serious students who want a clear professional view of their current level, their main technical-musical bottleneck and the next practical steps. This is not a casual lesson. It is a structured professional assessment for students who practise regularly but do not fully understand why their playing still does not sound free, stable, expressive or convincing. I am a Russian-trained concert pianist and piano educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience, international performance background, recordings, masterclasses and academic-level teaching experience. I teach piano as an integrated system: sound, movement, rhythm, phrasing, memory, musical understanding and intelligent practice. During the assessment, I look at the student’s playing as a complete musical and technical system: — sound and tone quality — body coordination and technical freedom — rhythm, pulse and inner stability — phrasing and musical direction — articulation and dynamics — reading and understanding the score — voice balance, harmony, form and musical logic — memory and reliability — practice method and self-checking skills After the session, the student receives a written summary with the main observations, the central bottleneck and a concrete practice plan for the next stage of work.
