Graduated teacher, from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Masters in Music Education and Jazz Guitar), from the Conservatory of Lille ( in jazz guitar, classical harmony, and classical music theory), the Music Academy International of Nancy. Bachelor and Master degree in musicology (Lille 3). Great stage and pedagogy experience. The program will be defined according to the goals of the student (leisure, advanced studies... ). This may include the following modules: basic knowledge of the guitar, basic chords and more advanced chords, scales and modes , theory and practice of improvisation , study of a repertoire ; right hand technique (fingers or pick), music theory and rhythm, sight-reading, composition ... Assignments are given at the end of each lesson so that the student knows what to practice ( it is imperative to practice at least a little between each session). I am passionate about teaching guitar! Over the last 10 years I have been teaching students from ages 7-70 from complete beginners to advanced players with one thing in common - their wish to play guitar more comfortably and have fun while doing it! I am a classical guitarist with a background in pedagogy, psychology and physiotherapy, my approach - methodical. While working on the things you want to improve and learn I will also help you develop a deep understanding of the theory and principles that music is built upon. My name is Davy, I am 34 years old and have had the guitar in my fingers for 25 years. I graduated from the Music Academy Tongeren for both classical and electric guitar. In addition, I attended 2 years of Conservatory Jazz at LUCA School of Arts Campus Lemmens Institute. I started teaching in various situations since I was 16, both group lessons and individual lessons on instrument and music theory. Sharing my knowledge with others has always been a great passion.
