My approach to teaching is based on personalisation, ensuring that each student receives lessons tailored to their specific needs and learning style. To promote active participation and optimal learning outcomes, lessons are designed to be structured, interactive and engaging. This combination of face-to-face and participatory learning methods ensures that students fully understand and retain the material. In addition to these active learning strategies, I also use visual aids and illustrations in my lessons. These visual aids serve to reinforce key concepts and deepen the student's understanding of the material, forming a deeper, more holistic understanding of the topic. Once the theory has been covered, I focus not only on the exercises included in the course curriculum, but also on additional, optional exercises designed to provide students with a more complete understanding of the material. These additional exercises are optional, but highly recommended, as they provide students with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the subject. In conclusion, my approach to teaching is focused on providing students with a personalized and engaging learning experience that promotes active participation and deep understanding. This approach allows students to develop a thorough understanding of the subject and reach their full potential.

In this science class (immunology), students will have an overview of their immune system’ superheroes (cells), where they are and the amazing actions they will take to protect us from pathogens. Let's promote discussions and critical thinking activities (Q&A) so students will learn how the immune system cells team up to destroy a pathogen. We will go beyond that knowledge and learn what each of us can do to make sure our superheroes get the support they need (hello science of well-being!) The students will then review what they learned by role-playing: assuming the role of immune system cells and having the opportunity to teach each other what they can do to protect their team.
