Hello, fellow singers and potential students! My name is Victoria and I'm a trained classical singer with twenty five years of experience performing, writing and teaching. I currently work as a professional soprano with choral quartet Sonare, with whom I am about to start our third concert tour. A typical lesson will begin with body stretches and vocal warm-ups, as well as learning how to set the body up correctly for performing. We'll then move on to studying the pieces you would like to learn; I will be more than happy to work with you on repertoire if you are unsure of where you’d like to start. I'm familiar with the ABRSM exam board, having taken numerous exams with them, and would be happy to study towards one of their grades if this is something you feel you'd like to achieve. Wherever your starting point is, my aim is for you to enjoy learning to sing, to do so in a safe and supported way, and to feel happy and confident in the skills you'll acquire.
